that's free market system for you, no cash no services, we are trying to shift it to something a little more practical.... it's going to take a paradigm shift that's pretty big it starts with the health maintainance organizations,(they decide the doctors through negociations and such then give you the choice) for those of us who are really broke with kids there is medicaid ( you can chose from 3 or 4 insurance companies) managed on state level but gender reassignment wasn't medical nessisary

@Mogley52 true science can't weigh in on the origin of the universe, but the question itself is badly concieved. "origin" is a concept that pre-supposes space/time. you can't apply it to space/time itself because it is logic intrinsic to it. so it's true that no sicentific theory is fit to answer such a question but the same applies to the cosmological argument for the existence of god. it's the result of bad reasoning.
