A few minutes worth of onboard film from Eddies Cagiva at the end of Qualifying at Eastern Creek.
Still my favourite piece of onbaord grand prix footage.

Amazing skills are required to pilot 180 hp unleashed within an insanely narrow powerband. Eddy makes it look easy. Does anybody else notice him manually blipping the throttle as he downshifts under braking on his entry into the turns? A true master aboard one of the most beautiful motorcycles ever made. Fantastic footage. Thanks for posting this.

Eddie Lawson and Cagiva is one of the greatest underdog stories of Motorsport! His win at Hungary was brilliant!!! One of the absolute greatest of all time! Lawson, Doohan, Dunlop, Rossi, Sheene, Agostini….GOAT’s!🙏

Peccato che i 2T sono fuori produzione ,non gareggiano piu in competizioni importanti,una moto come rs 250 che non viene piu prodotta ,il Cr 250 etc ,la gente cerca e vuole il 2T ,costa meno di manutenzione e da forti emozioni e mette in evidenza le caratteristiche del pilota ,adesso tutti maestri con i 4t controllo di trazione motori fluidi etc .2T fino alla morte

Fuckn trends killed the 2t, am i the only one who can’t enjoy the 4t motogp? In the 2t era i watched all the races but after the changes it looks boring to me... bring back this monster 500cc 2t engines without the shitty assistant electronics and i will be a fan again.

They had them i wsbk not long after before they were banned in wsbk i remember witham talking about them and how much they cost on his Ducati when he was alongside foggy.
