The other two songs that were hits in the late 1970's but this one tops them both. I have heard it several times and thought it was great. I wondered who owned the girls' voice in the background it was a great mix. I forgot that she also passed away as well. I just found out it was Ronnie Spector. Oh yeah Eddie Money was fantastic in the brief saxaphone solo.

It's an obvious tribute by Eddie to the song and to Ronnie both, a very classy move, as Ronnie's career at this point in her life had been sabotaged by the despicable Phil Spector in retaliation for her escaping his violent clutches. I shouldn't wonder When I feel you with my appetite With all the power you're releasing It isn't safe to walk the city streets alone Anticipation is running through me Let's find the key and turn this engine on I can feel you breathe I can feel your heart beat faster Take me home tonight I don't want to let you go 'til you see the light Take me home tonight Listen honey, just like Ronnie sang, "Be my little baby" I get frightened in all this darkness I get nightmares I hate to sleep alone I need some company, a guardian angel To keep me warm when the cold winds blow I can feel you breathe I can feel your heart beat faster Take me home tonight I don't want to let you go 'til you see the light Take me home tonight Listen honey, just like Ronnie sang, "Be my little baby" Be my little baby Just like Ronnie sang, just like Ronnie sang "Be my little baby, baby my darling" I feel a hunger, it's a hunger Take me home tonight I don't want to let you go 'til you see the light Take me home tonight Listen honey, just like Ronnie sang, "Be my little baby" Take me home tonight I don't want to let you go 'til you see the light Take me home tonight Listen honey, just like Ronnie sang, "Be my little baby" Take me home tonight I don't want to let you go 'til you see the light Take me home tonight Listen honey, just like Ronnie sang, "Be my little baby" Take me home tonight I don't want to let you go 'til you see the light Take me home tonight

Had my nieces over a few weeks ago and they were confused by my record collection. We spent the next few hours listening to it while we went over some photo albums and I told them about how much their mom loved going to the roller rink. My sister called to tell me I'd created a pair of monsters.
