Series 1 and 2 is my favourite tv show ever, but I never really liked series 3 as much, I think Adrian Edmonson write most of the third one as it's centred on his antics (and more of Spudgun and Dave Hedgehog).

Series 1 was absolutely the best because the main dynamic was that the two characters hated each other but also needed each other to survive. In the third series, they were far too friendly, which was absolutely integral to why the show was successful in the first place.

Eddie's Forging Money!? 🤑 | Bottom | BBC Comedy Greats 1904pm 17.6.24 one is left wondering, as one does, whether their dislike of richie stemmed to reality... how tolerable was rik mayall? from boistrous brash loud in your face spoilt rich brat to rowdy perverted skin flint. ne'er mind.... the comedy and laughs are there and there seems more love to the charcaterizations than you give him credit for. same goes for the alan partridge skits. no matter how tiresome the in person, real life, only meeee partridge might have been... anyhow; i am surmising like most lgiht entertainment you had to be there from the off or as soon as you could comprehend and recognize this from that...
