Eddie Vedder asked the crowds help in creating a tribute for a friend, Chris, who passed away earlier in the day. He proceeded to sing Just Breathe as the crowd used their phones to illuminate the moment.

My brother died of ALS. Thanks, Eddie, for this song. In a perfect world I would offer you a "breathing hug". Namaste.

You are correct. However, musicians should use their talent to sing songs and avoid all the politics and stories to gain the sympathetic vote from the crowd.

He is very sweet & genuine. I worked with him at Ohanafest & adored him ❤

That's your opinion. You apparently don't know anything about what it is to be an artist. In order to create work that is meaningful, you need to have some semblance of passion about what you are creating. @@jackvanbrocklin44

Damn. I received a life saving transplant last Xmas eve 2022. Coming up on my 1st new birthday and can’t think of a more fitting song if I hadn’t made it. In the meantime tragical like. Killing joke’s “you’ll never get to me” has been my survival song. Until last week when my dear friend Kevin “Geordie Walker passed from a stroke in the morning and took my hope of future music from killing joke away forever.
