I remember when this video just came out back in 2017 summer, i just started getting into eddsworld and i started going to high school. I left the fandom around early 2019 because the eddsworld amino community was really toxic at the start towards me. I'm finally turning 18 this 25th august and i still remember the day when i watched this 5 years ago on my birthday :)

Internet: Edd's dead Me: He still lives in our hearts. Edit: Some people are saying Edd is alive even though he isn't. When people say he is alive, it's misinformation. First, Edd wouldn't hide from his friends and his own idea of a comedy show. Eddsworld was Edd's idea and Edd is a good man. He wouldn't hide from his friends and the internet for no reason. If Edd survived cancer, I think Tord would still be here, and Matt & Tom would make it extremely obvious Edd is alive today. The reason Tord left is all the harassment he was getting on his socials after Edd's death. These turned into death threats and it was messing with Tord's mental health. So he deleted all his socials and legally changed his name to avoid any attention. Tom made a video about it and said to leave Tord alone, and not give him attention because Tord didn't want it. Please don't spread misinformation about Edd and what truly happened to him when he had cancer. :]

Ya’ll, I cried after reading some of the comments, I really miss Edd, I wish he never died and that Tom didn’t quit Eddworld, and that Tord left the fandom, I’m glade Matt hasn’t left. Let’s all hope that Matt keeps on making EddsWorld... T-T Edit- When I finished watching this I broke down into tears, my mom came in and she was like “Are you okay?!” And I said “N-no...” so I showed he this animation, and when it finished. I was about to explain the characters to her, and I said “ B-blue is Tom.... Red is T-To-..... “ and started crying again.. We All Miss You Edd! We Miss All Of You! T-T Edit 2- I watched this again and cried for the rest of the day, when I finally stopped crying I couldn’t feel any emotions for some reason I didn’t know what to feel. I felt like Edd was right there with me.

I hope Edd is proud of us. I hope he looks down at his world and says “It’s pretty swell!”

How this reminds me of the good old eddsworld days. Now most of the crew has left and edds gone and all of us fans of eddsworld depend on matt now. If only there were a true way to make eddsworld less complicated to deal with for him. Cause now, folks are harassing Matt's wife for the most ridiculous of reasons and some think eddsworld is just some yaoi bait. Honestly, it breaks my heart to see eddsworld fall apart like this. Even when it's most of the fandoms fault. But ya know, we all learn from our mistakes and hopefully we could all make eddsworld into something greater. Congratulations Matthew Hargreaves! You did pretty swell on keeping the world spinning for your best friend Edd. He would be proud of what you've been doing after all these years making the content exactly like Edd's but it's also because you're still apart of the crew. You may be the only one who's remaining but at least you have made the fans and also Edd sastified with all your dedication, motivation, ambition and determination and gave it all up on this awesome web-toon that there are more fans coming into this community Eddheads would also like to thank Thomas Ridgewell (TomSka) as well. He was there when the legacy came around by the time after Edd's death and funeral. If it weren't for this beloved comedian, it could've been too different. As someone who's idea is to make a legacy after Edd making those entertaining toons and eddisodes, he did well on this too. After all, he did wanted to make it the same as it was if Edd DID beat cancer It's time that people who surfaced on Tord Larsson's lost video considering Edd's death an apology. It was never his fault that he decided to leave Eddsworld and go on to do his own artistic career (which is hopefully doing alright with him now) and because of the attention he never wanted, he quit and was never heard from or seen by anyone familiar with Eddsworld again. All we only have left of him is the "Snow in Oslo" video. Tord, you may have been a good friend to Edd and it's better if those people will let you be and some of them do understand your doubts And for dear creator Edward Gould, they did it. They kept your world spinning that you asked them to keep it a promise. It's a pity that you never got to be around in this world much longer and yet your fans still miss you and even the new ones who are disappointed and upset that they never got to see you or meet you in person which is their dream and hope. It would be nice if you were still around; now if you were already 33 years old, still making puns with your friends and if Tord didn't leave then you four would still be friends in real life who do things together wherever you four go and if you had the chance to still make animations for your fans then maybe there could be a chance to meet you to fulfill all those wishes. We all wish you rest in peace Edd, it's pretty swell

I miss Edd’s animation, it was funny and original. All the adventure, the characters the jokes, every bit! This animation shows how far fans will go to support a passed creator and their content. The 2 end episodes were such a plot twist! It’s not the same without him. I feel for the family and all of his friends. EDDit 2: what if there was a whole Ellsworld series in Edd’s name? They might have left too, I’m not sure, but maybe we could do this.
