I actually once talked to Marc personally when I was around 14-15. He had an account on Eddsworld Amino where he would ask for drawing requests, and eventually dm requests(which I believe is still up but inactive). I remember talking to Marc in dms just a tiny bit after he asked for people to talk to him. Looking back at our convo, it's really weird and freaky to look back on. It's pretty disturbing now how he was on a platform overflowing with kids. When I heard stuff about this initially, it made me think back to my own grooming experience and how kind of screwed it is--knowing that this guy I talked to and looked up to was a groomer during the time we had briefly talked. I hope the victims are doing okay now and finding ways to cope with their experience with this guy. Absolutely disgusting...

Update: Several people including myself shared this video and other pieces of evidence on his general page and this supposed girlfriend Mod of his openly defended him and then banned me. Please look into this more. I want some sort of justice acted upon him. I also hope this can put more pressure on him with multiple people calling him out so he can actually say something about it

This may get a bit long but you have no idea how happy I am to see this posted. I fell victim to Marc's grooming about 8 years ago- I was 13 at the time. After a day of talking he lured me into a relationship (my first relationship nonetheless) for about a month and it was full of nothing but tickling and stomach roleplays. I still remember how detailed he was with them. It took me years to realize how much it affected me but once I did, I've wanted to call him out but was too scared to- but knowing the truth is out now I hope to fully come forth about it publicly soon. All I can say is thank you so much. Trying to save the details for when I can so I can keep this at a decent length.

ay bro banger video but ive gotta correct you on one thing comparisons the the dsmp fandom are pretty common in this neck of the woods but its straight up not true. the crew has said multiple times that the characters are separate beings from their irl counterparts, and even edd gould never seemed to have a problem with it, with his only issue being that he thought it was kinda weird that most of the ships were between two guys. most fanworks involving shipping take initiative to make sure people can tell the difference, and relating the characters to their irl versions is generally frowned upon. like i said though this video is fuckin based and im glad somebody with a large following is speaking out about this. if youre ever interested in delving deeper into the eddsworld community, the comic tbatf (the beginning and the friEND) has several dumptrucks worth of mayhem surrounding it. the main director of the comic told a kid to kill themselves and may have sexually harassed a minor. and the comic itself isnt even good.

I never got into eddsworld, but Edd animated a small section of an episode of another web series called “dickfigures”, so I had heard the name before

I went to high school with this guy and to be honest, this doesn't come as much of a surprise. He was an "anchor" on our school news program that would play every morning in homeroom, and I always got the idea that he had a big ego and was trying to be a kind of celebrity.

I think the title should be changed, since the only time Marc worked on the show officially was minor bits of The End and a rescore of a certain old Eddsworld episode. (He did the flashback sequences for the first part, also the title cards and the epilogue credits scene which have his OC General McCoy in it for Part 2.) Also he did the rescore of the Eddsworld Halloween Special (2007) which was the legacy version of the episode itself, how ever thankfully you can find the original copyrighted music of the episode easily. Other then that, he was never a official Eddsworld crew at all.
