I really fell in love with her voice as Elphaba and even though she was sick here, I have to give Eden a huge round of applause for belting and performing these riffs with all her soul. Definitely my favorite version of “No Good Deed” by far.

@@veronikazajicova7191 I'm not sure if it was the change in climate or what the hell happened between Los Angeles and San Francisco but her final run in San Francisco is Alpha bow was a vocal struggle for her. This was one of the better performances. If you look up other performances from this time frame she was flat as much as she was on key

@@sheismymom And I'm so thankful you posted the catfight! Eden was my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Elphie!!!!! She and Kendra were in the first Wicked tour in 2005, they have a certain chemistry. I once saw them walking around chillin' in San Francisco around that time. You could tell they really liked each other.

that’s the point, elphaba was never wicked. she was convinced by everyone else that she was to the point she believed it herself for a moment- hence no good deed

@@delightfulmochas Then technically, she didn't save them. If you're a different person afterwards, the old you died. Not her fault of course, but I understand if people were angry. I don't know if you watched Once Upon a Time, but the same thing happened when Emma "saved" Hook. People acted like he was wrong to be angry at her when she "saved" him, but she turned him into the thing he hated most in order to do so. I am glad he didn't stay dead, as I know he was eventually as well, but anyone empathetic should be able to understand why he would rather have died than be turned into something he hated against his will.

You have to take in consideration that she was sick during this performance. It’s certainly not her best but I have to give it to her for powering through and giving her all. There’s definitely effort despite her flatness.

Omg…please. She has more talent than 99% of the population, so even her “pitchy” performance is unattainable for most singers. It’s easy to watch singers on KZfaq and be critical. You try getting on stage and singing like this. We will all watch your video gladly.
