I found this channel because although it seemed a presbyterian PhD that learned the symbols of the Bible but not the understanding of the metaphysics of the spirit-real...in the Bible podcast I listen too...but I found out Tim is being shown their is a cave that is hidden is inside the other dimension. Praise God and pray for all that we have the courage to proclaim the word of truth

Here is speculation or conjecture of my own; i've wondered if the snake was actually a dragon? What I mean by that is, i've heard that God punished the serpent and said he would be condemned to crawl across his belly and eat the dust of the earth from then on. Before that, it was said that the serpent was the wisest and most beautiful of animals God had made. In Asian tradition the serpents were beautiful and fierce looking, sometimes good sometimes evil. Western traditions are completely opposite. The dragon is a symbol of evil and destruction and even associated with the Satan. Just a strange thought i've had a time or two. Interested in other folks perspectives on this.

I have contemplated about why did Lucifer become rebellious angel. Then one day I thought maybe Lucifer ate from the tree of good and evil. I can’t imagine any other way an “sin of GOD” could turn on an Exalted HASIM.

We get hints and clues but nothing concrete and I agree with you it’s something that doesn’t make sense as far as how the serpent in Eden ever thought he would get away with it🤷🏻‍♂️ But then again the same question can be applied for us as humans, even though influenced by the Nakash “Humanity” willingly disobeyed and then showed zero repentance. For me that’s the key to unlocking the story of the garden of Eden is the lack of repentance shown by Adam and Eve. This sets up the entire narrative of scripture which hinges upon changing our mind and seeing that God is a better decision-maker than we are. The new covenant itself, laid out in Jeremiah and instituted by Jesus at the last supper, is based upon God’s spirit working in the hearts of individual believers and directing them towards righteousness. My goal is to trust in that same spirit of God that hovered over the dark chaotic waters and trust that He can create new life for me and all of creation ✌️🔔

I may even say: there will be a fourth and we are about to see. I was thinking and I believe it will be a failed try to reverse Babel/Jesus reclaiming nations. One prince will come, drop 3 other princes and the others will give him their power and authority. I believe Daniel 8 is a spiritual reality and Daniel 11 is a physical one.

Keep in mind the 3 rebellions in the Bible may have gone back hundreds, thousand, or even millions of years. Lucifer rebelled and he seems to have taken many angels and others with him. So there were at least 4 rebellions seen, but related. Blessings

Us as people become the aniti Christ because we have not love or fear of God and when that happens you go off track from the lessons you have been taught and the principles you're supposed to stand on at that point you are against so u are anti-christ

Seductive ideas. But ultimately digressive. We have to be clear: neither Satan nor his allies have power. They were defeated by our Lord once and forever. Heiser in my view does the powers and principalities a big favour by focusing so much attention on them. I'm not a Heiser supporter.

Well you sure do have a lot of explaining to do with all of the New Testament passages that are post Ascension referencing the Satan and the evil powers still in full effect.

@ringthembells143 I leave such responses to those who believe they need to explain why Jesus' death on the cross and resurrection are not enough. I personally will not be seduced into such questioning.

@ringthembells143 Ah so you believe the Bible doesn't support the view that Jesus was victorious over Satan and his allies? Noone is saying those powers don't exist- they're well acknowledged in Scriptures. But Heiser and those who place so much importance on those fallen elohim are digressing from the core message of Jesus' victory over them. You may not have noticed, but NTW clearly didn't support your Heiser-leaning narrative. He rightly steered around it to emphasise the Lordship of Jesus and not the importance of Heiser's (and supporters') on-going projection of the vanquished dark powers. Neither Satan nor his fraternities have the slightest power or importance. Jesus is Lord.

@@tiosurcgibI actually think you fundamentally misunderstand Heiser, he is saying that Jesus beat those principalities, but as most scholars agree their is the now and not yet of Jesus resurrection, we still live in a fallen world, for that to happen even though fundementally the devil or Satan has been beaten, he still has some power untill the world is wrapped up. Your belief hinges on the christus victus model of atonement, I would say Heiser is saying that Jesus death beats these things , but death isn't beaten until the last day. Therefore principalities still are about otherwise why would Peter and Paul warn watch out for Satan he's like a lion waiting to pounce (paraphrase) I also don't think it's a seductive idea, I agree the place we focus on is the victory of the cross, but the cosmic battle is how Jesus ends up on the cross, and actually understanding the context of how the Jewish people read the Bible helps frame passages really well . But knowing about the enemy does not glorify him, no! We need to be armed ready , otherwise any passage that mentions the Satan would lead us here , like Jesus talking to satan
