@@DavidSmith-fs6pi I think Jofre will easily beat Olivares (and Olivares IMO is the GOAT of Mexican boxing and bantamweight division) but will have a 50-50 fight against Nato.

@@ralphdupas6179 l highly doubt that Jofré could beat Olivares. Rather I think Olivares could knock him out.

@@ninjjj I don't think so. Jofre is a great technician and very versatile boxer comparable to the great Sugar Ray Robinson. While Olivares is a one trick pony. Jofre also had a great chin and one punch knock out power in both hands, something Olivares despite his tremendous power didn't have.

After Jose Legra lost the title he was offered $15 thousand to fight the future champ; then up and coming Danny Lopez. Jose wanted a tune up with the then unranked and unknown Alexis Arguello. Jose never got out of the starting gate and was put to sleep in the 1st round.

If Jose Legra had fought Danny Lopez he would have lasted 1 round too. The Great Munroe Brooks once had sparring session with Danny and said the featherweight champ hit as hard as many of the Junior Welters he fought.

Eder jofre es una leyenda, pero esta pelea la gana legra 9-6 ...es un robo total tanto la pelea por parte del arbitro como d los jueces

Sou muito fã do Eder Jofre, mas, essa luta o Eder não venceu, apesar que o Legra não foi assim tão incisivo no combate mas teve mais iniciativa na luta.Não desmerecendo o Eder por que não precisa provar nada, o maior peso galo e penas do mundo , mas houve influencia política por parte do Ditador Medici.

Luta muito equilibrada. Já assisti 4 vezes, fazendo a contagem dos pontos, tipo 10 x 9 para o vencedor de cada round. Difícil, mas acho que Éder ganhou sim.

Legra tava achando que era greco romana. Só amarrava a luta quando começava a levar pressão. Éder venceu.

Not quite sure how Jofre got the decision in this fight. Legra's jab did a pretty good of keeping him at a distance most of the time. Jofre's attempts to pressure Legra were largely ineffective as Legra, when he wasn't jabbing, tied him up. I'd have thought Jofre warranted a draw at best.
