which is a more tragic love story; marius' struggle to dance with lethica without giving into the urge to bite her, or lowly tie salesman jericho sticks, briggstholomena and nigel's love triangle. also derek is a genius for those heartbeat noises while lethica was passing over her dance card LORD

Derek's attention to detail when playing Lethica is INSANE. Yeah, this episode he makes it clear that she's left-handed but I went back and watched the dinner scene from when they first got to the Chateu and Derek's fully miming Lethica eating left-handedly! Derek is absolutely playing the long game here

This episode was a gift. Not only did we get the canon equivalent of a college AU, we got a massive lore drops from CoS. I loved all the little things Derek slips in with Lethica’s actions that make her feel real (left-handedness, sweet tooth, etc.), poor Briggsy’s childhood trauma, and Jericho’s improvisational skills never disappoint (the audience). 1:41:22 “I’m not scowling, that’s just my face” - Marius and every autistic person, ever

I love how excited Andy got (~2:45:00) when Nikkie described Shepard’s hat and his guns Judgement and Redemption. I can’t wait to see if that comes back around or anything else from the CoS characters show up like this and the edelwood forest and cultists.

they did have a throw back in ep Crooked. With a toy that had the writing 'is no fun is no Blinsky the ll' and i do believe that the god faultis (have no idea how its spelled) was mentioned in Shepperd horror dream but i also hope they have more bits of CoS thrown in

@@Mythicallz Oh yeah there’s a lot more world building/plot-style CoS connections in this campaign, which makes sense bc CoS, BDW, and EoM are some of the more closely connected Avantris campaigns. I caught them earlier, along with ones like the resurgence of the dream pastries and the fact that Lathander is the Morning Lord that’s worshipped in Barovia. I was just more excited to see the player character callbacks.

I have decided that The Humble Tie Salesman Jericho and the Lowly Milkmaid Annabelle are siblings and Jericho brought his sister as his plus one to the ball because he couldn’t find a date and sweet little Annabelle is just happy to be in such a grandious home around the rich folks before going back to the farm. It’s a shame that poor ma Sticks couldn’t keep the family farm after the flood where Pa Sticks and Abraham got washed away…

I believe this joke falls under the category of an Unintentional Homophonic Pun, Derek (Lethica) said "recreate", however, this is not the word which Andy (Marius) perceived in the moment. At the time, he understood Derek to have instead said the word "procreate", which is a more commonly utilized term for F*CKING. While it is unclear if the rest of the table heard correctly, or did not perceive the subtle linguistic gaffe remains unclear, so you see this sole perception led him to be the only one who responded as he did. Quite humorous.

This episode was a much needed breath of fresh comedic air after the many episodes of darkness, and continues the trend of this channel being masters of juxtaposition. I am endlessly inspired, and impressed by how well you are all able to showcase such engaging storytelling, and how good you all are at improvisational humor. He and his wife had a child recently and Kelsey has a job that makes consistent and frequent sessions hard to keep up sometimes. I guess recently it made it difficult to find the time at all. So they storied in that Yorgrim and Farryn died, but perhaps not permanently if Kelsey and Mace get the time to make sessions again.
