for power station i would recommend bandit and Tayga with sidebed. they can do their own pulling and go absolute anywhere. the twinsteer is near useless with out a puller so why not let 2 trucks do half the lifting.? maybe have 1 with crane in case of a single trucks flips. for power lines a kolob + trailer + tuz 420 its not even overkill its just waste. a single bandit or tayga can handle that trip no problem solo. a two truck set up is NOT a must for power lines. i do however really like the route you have mapped out, that helped me alot. even if you dont bring metal from lake kovd a bandit and tayga can also with ease get metal from the Imandra location. its is true, bringing a large trailer is a bad idea and not worth it, two single bed trucks is better. or have one go twice and switch load with crane. thanks for the walkthru :-)

I'm playing on PS4 & yea, PC SR runners have the option to load a previous save. Console runners like me suck it up - we live with our mistakes. I agree with your tactic. In Michigan, Alaska & even in Taymyr, we are often given free trailers & conveniently positioned trailer stores. In Kola Peninsula, we are punished for using trailers. It is better to bring 2 trucks with sideboard beds & winch them together. In fact, for the garage tasks & The Price of Victory, it is better to have 2 trucks both with loading crane & beds. An additional engine is additonal power. The only time we had to really haul a long trailer is that troll of a contract for the airplane.

Twinsteer is really good when you get the AWD upgrade.

I found the best way to do Repairing Power Lines was (1) get the wooden planks (2) go to the task location via the road and lakeshore ice (3) from there go due east through the woods, down towards the river a bit, over clear open snow to the first Power Line location - very easy - then (4) descend to the river and cross it and to the second Power Line location. I did with a Tayga 6436. The only problem was getting stuck in the small canyon just short of the second Power Line location: the Tatarin helped me out;

Try the Kolob with the new heavy trailer. 5 points of cargo on the saddle high. It will really help in the tough terrain.

Thanks for the route near the shore. But I do it easily with THE BEST Track Tayga 6436 full upgrade, mud tires and flatbed and also attached small trailer

EdgeRunner: "The TwinSteer is fairly stable" Me: tipping it over 7 times including cargo on the way towards the garage Spent the day with getting a few trucks up to where the garage will be, took the TwinSteer with me (2x metal beams), 64131 with 2x fuel for Magnitude 5 task, 4220 Antarctic with 2x wooden planks and the 73210 with a heavy crane to recover. Will try to unlock the garage tomorrow, but I guess that should be fine :D

i did this missions with just the TwinSteer (Broken Power Station) and the Voron Grad (Repairing Power Lines)

Sorry but the Twin-Steer isn't a bad truck. Even when it only had RWD it was still a beast just due to pure engine power it has, put a decent set of tires on it and it was hard to stop. I even used it a lot in Taymir on all those muddy trails, even in Zimnegork, all with RWD. And now as of the Imandra update there is a AWD upgrade for it. The truck is a absolute beast now. I will say it's a bit on the tippy side, you need to watch going on a angle. But otherwise the truck is monster.

Realistically id just bring ginaf and MOL trucks along with a DAF irtex
