Your boardwipes were pretty versatile and I thought there was some really great interaction :) I tend to run 2 board wipes and more direct interaction like removal or counterspells unless the board wipe is one that wins the game lol.

Edit: (realized you were talking about the triggers for Gnomes gy and not the gyruda stack. whoops!) Thanks for clarifying! We weren't sure since Konrad says if a creature enters the graveyard from anywhere which seems to include the stack? They trigger when cards are milled. With those copper dragon rolls I kept joking that I wished I rolled that high in D&D haha

I totally didn't think of her as a voltron commander! I bet that is wild to deal with, especially since she makes chump blockers/sac fodder. I'll likely be playing her in the next commander gameplay we record :)

@@empty_g when myrel was spoiled i thought well- here is a commander that ca survive a bolt and protect herself 50% of the time. Her ability can create a wide boardstate and there is a tribal aspect. I am a mostly creature based builder, love artifacts and i like trying to protect my commander most. All i needed to add was evasion and ways for her to benefit from the creatures she wants to make. Whispersilk cloak, mirror shield, darksteel plate, shield of kaldra, lightning greaves, mask of avacyn, sigil of valor, totem armor, protection from creatures, gift of immortality, unblockability, flying, doublestrike, mace of the valiant, loxodon warhammer- i forsake all removal for the slots to make her impervious. Her casting cost is manageable so she doesnt need rocks, dorks or ramp-- more slots, snow land for on thin ice at least, a mana tithe, equips that boost her for creatures on the field and ways to dump more soldiers before or during her attack- it adds up to lethal really fast. Control is nice but takes up slots and is a bit grindy. Worldslayer is in there with a few spells and creatures to make her indestructable( cant wait to use that tbh) The wide boardstate isnt really the focus at all, i dont attack with the soldiers- just myrel. The soldiers are mainly to take focus off what she is becoming. It was funny with everyone looking for the boardwipe but when she survives, the rebuild is fast as hell.

@@Badassest That's so awesome and I love this idea. I totally would never have thought about that approach. Are you running All that Glitters? I could see that getting out of control with the artifact soldiers she makes.
