After you made the video a few months ago mentioning Lulu, I thought she sounded fun to play too, but I already have an aristocrats deck so wanted to do something different. Looked through the backgrounds and immediately was drawn to Guild Artisan. Saw the treasure synergy immediately. It’s now one of my strongest decks and a lot of fun to play! It’s awesome you saw the same thing, but im sure after this video I’ll see more people going with the same concept lol

I also "fix" lists I've been happy with but had for a while. I love casting a newly added card and someone in my playgroup saying "since when do you play THAT!?"

You know, I never read much past “Elephant Angel” on Lulu. But now I see the light! 😃

There's a couple decks I had for about 8 and 7 years or so... ...namely Shattergang Brothers and Shu Yun (the Silent Tempest). It was somewhat to very much of a color issue, because I always wanted to make sure I eventually have a deck of every color combination (also colorless), but Wizards just doesn't have the cards to support my exact ideas. So, I looked to partner combinations to save the colors and original spirit of both decks, with Shu Yun becoming Akroma (Vision of Ixidor)//Kraum (Ludevic's Opus) keyword soup, and Shatterbros becoming Gilanra (Caller of Wirewood)//Vial Smasher the Fierce classic battlecruiser. I'm not a 90's Magic player, but I did start at around Scars of Mirrodin, Zendikar, and M10, but my big thing was Duels of the Planeswalkers, back when Wizards wasn't afraid to print casual 60-card decks with a cool theme, and had promo-codes to pick up one of the classic mono-color titans. Duels had me in love with big ol' Jund spells, but I made Shatterbros tokens, complete with Doubling Season and the whole shebang. Even Shatterbros used to be Riku of Two Reflections infinite combo, and Shatterbros still couldn't be saved with Mr. Orfeo (the Boulder) at the Helm. My experience with Shu Yun is a lot more hazy, but I wanted to give doublestrike to creatures like Medomai (the Ageless). Then I heard about someone doing 3-color partner and focusing on Splice onto Arcane spells, but the focus for me became keyword soup, with support from flying and backgrounds. Now, if only Wizards would print white and green faeries better for commander, then maybe I can finally take Rubinia Soulsinger off of en'bant'tress life support, and make an actually respectable faerie tribal deck.

I have 5 decks are my complete babies completely foiled out my mono black discard/Liliana themed deck and plan to do the same for my dragon/angel tribal decks, my white/red/blue storm and my latest most fun weird shenanigans grixis obeka end turn deck xD

I have a green black voltron deck with glissa the traitor at the helm, what scary about her is that she starts off as a 3/3 first strike deathtouch, then I give her protection from colors I give her menace flying trample I use some reconfigure creatures like blade of the oni which makes her a base power and toughness 5/5 and gives her menace winning with her is very easy cause no one wants to block her giving her indestructible with hammer of nazahan not only to I get a free equip with it when it enters when other equipments enter I can auto equip them I also put in helm of the host to make an army of her.

Speaking about monoblue exicting commander. Any opinions on Loreth of the Healing House as a noncombo build commander? That untaps 2 legendary seems crazy.

When fixing Commander decks, the first thing I like to look at is am I using all parts of the buffalo (commander). If you're not using all of the abilities on your commander, you might not be playing the deck right. It might mean that you need to change the commander, or you need to change the way you look at the deck entirely.

Reborn hope, late to dinner, patch up, spirited companion and recommission wuold be perfect in a shanna value reanimator deck

Tinker, tinker and tinker some more. If you find cards that do the same thing add them for redundancy, try to focus your deck on an idea/theme and roll with it. Look at others decks, get ideas, ex: I looked at a number of videos and got an idea for how I wanted to make my Ovika deck and used the cards I had lying around, almost a completely creatureless deck, Ovika brings their own army. Don't let high CMC commanders stop you from building them. Keep in mind there is always something new to learn in MTG, been playing this game for over half my life and I always learn something new every time I play :P

Give Myth Unbound consideration in your Shanna deck, a tragically underplayed card that seems perfect!

Honestly I was struggling with making Kaalia less Monolith. Opponents take her out once, she already rivals the mana value of the stuff I'm looking to cheat into play. Lulu could be a fun addition to a Kaalia treasure or sacrifice theme. Lulu also benifits the deck greatly by untapping each tapped creature providing Kaalia players some much needed defense.
