This song played on the radio while driving home after I had to leave my dog in the animal clinic. Nobody knew if she would survive the surgergy and the odds were bad, so needless to say, this song hit hard in that moment. She luckily made it, against all odds, but I still get goosebumps and have to think back to that moment whenever I hear this song. Giving her good belly scratches right now and think how happy I'am, that she's still with me.

I've been searching for my special angel for 42 years but to no avail. I feel like I am destined to be alone and unloved. I've never felt the emotion of love and probably never will. As matter of fact, I'm an asexual gay man,who only loves men from the waist up. The definition of a person who is asexual means someone or something that has no sexual desires. I myself am a lover and a very passionate one at that. I'm looking for another man like me,who is caring, compassionate honest and loving. I never listened to Metallica until now. In High School it appeared that only the druggies listened to this. As a grow older, one thing is clear, I need to rethink and critically analyze everything I was ever taught about anything. The journey has been an amazing wake up call across the entire ecosystem of my existence.

Thats a misconception of music, just because its fast paced, extremely loud, doesnt mean its drug music, sadly music is also about the struggles in life, whether its rap, rock, hip hop, or even classical music, take queen, bohemian rhapsody, Led Zeppelin stairways to heaven. They are more opra than rock music when you truly listen to them

I've finally found the love of my life... it took me 50 years to find him... this is one of our songs. Nothing else matters except how we treat each other, my best friend whom I tell all of my deepest darkest trauma... he has trauma too... and we are healing together.. believing in our relationship. I've never known what love, and sacrifice, and truly knowing he's my rock and I am his. People have judged both of us based on our past... but guess what? Those people, including his own mother... are TOXIC. we live for each other and our love... and nothing else matters. I hope you and your love can talk, be brutally honest in your feelings and what you both want. Thinking of doing a photo montage with this song as a backdrop. Photos of our little boy over the 2 1/4 years of his battle with leukemia... His treatment ended last June. As I look back and reflect on that rather difficult period in our lives, I can't believe he went through that. I hope that's it. Never again...
