@@jgrigs6887 i hooked em up to my sansui 8080 to the aux rca input & connected the subwoofer on the back of R1280Ts...just amazing sound!

The sound isn’t flat it’s more meant for music since the clarity is boosted to be incredible and evarything is incredibly crisp and coulerful to make it incredible for music

If you wanna get optical quality get a dac that runs dolby digital and dts. I use these for my tv. I prefer this over my 2.1 sound bar

ehhh, LINE 2 is an IN and NOT and OUT. There is a dedicated SUB OUT on the back. Just for clarification.

So weird I have these exact speakers but mine don't have a sub out port and instead of line 1 and line 2 they say pc and aux..

There are three models 1280TS - has sub out/ No Bluetooth 1280DB - No sub out / has Bluetooth 1280DBS - has sub out and Bluetooth

Combine these with a sub, might be a decent 2.1 system. Much better than those low-end Logitech PC speakers.
