They are really nice. Love em besides the remote. I only touch if if I have to and control volume with my KB.

Depends. Some sound bars have a center channel to help with 3d sound. This is just a left and right channel setup. I think the sound quality would be better than the typical cheap sound bars you can buy under 200 possibly more. Really hard to judge as what sounds good to me may be junk to you, know what I mean? For the money, they are worth every penny. I have my setup with a sub that I added with spliced jacks. Now they have a version that lets you add a sub without all the mess.

@@Meanpooh i want to use them for the tv in my bedroom and my bedroom is really small 12x12. and used to stream movies and youtube in my bedroom. my old sony soundbar has started to crackle slightly and it gets annoying. i was talking to a friend about getting a new soundbar and he said powered bookshelf speakers would be a better option. that's when i came across the Edifier R1700BT for the price they seem to be about the best option. i don't need a lot of sound as its a small room basically what i was wondering could they be used in my situation? thanks for the reply :)

These would be perfect just know that there is no sub hookup. They are pretty loud for their size. Crisp and clear.

I've researched a bit more and as there is no sub outlet I've decided to go with the Edifier S350DB as it has a dedicated sub and I bet that would sound great for movies. i was wondering if you could get a free review pair of these speakers id love to hear your take on them. ill give ya a sub thanks again bro :)
