You're right. The recent changes by the UK government will ultimately help students and will discourage bogus students and/or dependents wanting to use this route to enter the country. Most importantly, the UK opens the doors to travel/move to all mainstream countries.

You’re right. I am here in UK on dependent visa doing job in my own field in a big multinational company and student or dependent came here and doing uber eats, dilevroo, just eats and security jobs only they don’t want to go in there own skilled trade. Here in Uk its a good market of skilled fields but everyone have to hunt this opportunity. But as you said everyone wants to use phone on jobs thats why they are looking for easy jobs…

Those applying or thinking to apply for uk will definitely regeret & lose too much. Reasons 1: there is no place to live .UK has no housing . 2: Immigration rules are twsited everyday making it extremely unreliable to invest & planning for future. 3: High inflation & no jobs.
