We are very pleased to have secured the purchase of the new Basel 2017 launch Rolex Sea Dweller 50th Anniversary watch.
Papers are dated 2019 for this for this mint condition UK supplied one owner example.
It is unfortunately near impossible to obtain these now as there are long waiting lists and buyers and collectors are snapping them up.
It comes complete as a full set with box and papers and we do not think this will be around for long!
This has the new calibre 3235 movement ensuring an accuracy level of +/- 2 seconds per day.
The case is also new at 43mm giving it a totally new look and feel but yet still holding on to the Rolex traditional Sea-Dweller look.

I just found one in a local grey that was brand new. Fully documented. Some lucky fat bastard bought this and a TT Seadweller from an AD. He immediately sold off the 43SD. Told my friend about it and he bought it right away.

Can I ask I've owned my SWD for a year. I wanted to change the straps to rubber B. Will this void my warranty? As I dont want to scratch the stainless steel ones I already have on the watch

In case viewers want to know more about the helium escape valve. It is my understanding that the valve has nothing to do with deep dives, but rather for those divers that live down deep in chambers that have a mix of air that contains helium. When the chamber comes up to the surface for decompression, the helium gas expands inside the watch and was causing the crystals to pop off or crack. The helium escape valve allows this gas to escape, protecting the watch. This is what I recall from past posts. There are most likely more technical details or corrections that the viewer may want to research, if interested. If anyone can add to this, please comment.

Decent effort, but was a bit of a joke when you were supposed to show US a wrist shot - but you only showed YOURSELF! Sorry, that was hilarious. I also have an 8 inch wrist, so I was genuinely curious to see the promised wrist shot. No biggie, I already have one - which I adore. My only criticism is that it is just a tad heavy. My OP41 is wonderfully light to wear by comparison, but isn't the absolute stunner that the SD43 is.

Also the mark 1 dial is the true 50 anniversary. You can tell by looking between “Swiss Made” if it has a crown or not. Great review!

This type of minutiae that's important to "collectors", means zero to most watch enthusiasts. I actually like the small coronet in between SWISS MADE on the MK2 dial.

Stunning watch and an ultra masculine chunk of steel if you’ve got the wrist to carry it off you’ll definately get some admiring looks. The Sub is built like a tank, the SeaDweller is built like a nuclear bunker. New generation movement with 70+ hours of power reserve and easily accurate to within 14 seconds per week. It’s a quality piece of up to the minute Engineering. Nice review.

I need some advice from Rolex owners out there. I been working with Rolex AD to buy my first Rolex. I get a call today Dec 10 he has a 2022 Sea Dweller 126600 Red line just came in from Rolex brand new for me and to buy at retail. I had originally told him I wanted anything Submariner or Gmt in Oystersteel. Appointment is tomorrow. Any Rolex I buy will be with me forever. I know this is not as popular as other two. Would anyone here still buy this if they were in my position? Were you still happy you bought this? Plus I see they do not hold value long term like other models either. Don't know what to do plus do not want to piss off AD. Help! Serious replies only, Thanks.

It’s a great watch Bob. I’ve bought and sold many along with giving them wrist time. Not too big and enhanced by the red writing in the dial. Go for it.
