RECENTLY (LIKE DAYS AGO LITERALLY) SKUNKAPE (THE GAME STUDIO) ANNOUNCED THAT THE DEVILS PLAYHOUSE (THIS GAME) WAS GETTING A REMASTER FOR THE SWITCH (IF YOURE WONDERING WHY ITS GETTING A REMAKE, ITS BECAUSE SAM AND MAX: SAVE THE WORLD WHICH CAME OUT ORIGINALLY IN 2007 (AND IT WAS KNOWN AS SAM AND MAX SEASON ONE UNTIL IT CHANGED TO SAVE THE WORLD IN 2009) WAS ONLY OUT ON STEAM (FOR PC) AND IT WAS DEVELOPED BY TELLTALE (which is funny because telltale usually made games like minecraft storymode and the walking dead; aka. 'choice based games' (if you can even call them that lmao), but sam and max is more of a point and click puzzle game) BUT IN 2020 IT WAS REMADE IN HD AND PORTED TO THE NINTENDO SWITCH BY SKUNKAPE (just so you know, it was remastered by skunkape because telltale went bankrupt and most of its assets were bought by LCG entertainment (not mcsm unfortunately 😔 but they do own the batman telltale game and Skybound which is a different company entirely i think bought The Walking Dead) in October 2018) THEN FOLLOWED BY SAM AND MAX: BEYOND TIME AND SPACE WHICH CAME OUT ORIGINALLY EPISODE BY EPISODE IN 2007- EARLY 2008 AND THEN WAS REMASTERED IN 2021.) ANYWAYS, THE REMAKE FOR THIS EPISODE IS COMING OUT THIS!! AUGUST!! AND THE OG GAME HIT SOOOOO HARD I LOVED IT EVEN WHEN THE GRAPHICS WERE SHIT SO SEEING IT AND ACTUALLY BEING ABLE TO PLAY IT WHEN IT COMES OUT (i have a switch, but no pc hence why ive been waiting MONTHS for the remastered since skunkape originally announced it on their YT) IS GONNA BE SO GOOD AND IM REALLY DAMN EXCITED AND AHHHHHH!!
