1- In the 22nd India-Russia annual summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visits Russia on Monday, indicating robust and durable bilateral ties between the two nations since 1971 Soviet Union Peace and Friendship Treaty. 2- This is the 2nd meeting between the two leaders after the Russian President Vladimir Putin launched ‘Special Operations’ on Ukraine, first was at SCO Summit in Uzbekistan when Mr. Modi told Putin this was not the ‘era of war’. 3- There will be talks on bilateral issues such as trade and energy relation, space cooperation for Gaganyaan and declining defence supplies.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit Russia will include a meeting with President Vladimir Putin, whom he last saw in Russia in 2019 and this meeting also the first time after Russia Ukraine war. Russia has always maintained a good relationship with India during various phases. But nowadays russia's dependency on china is a agitated for India. As is the case, India command for arms in Russia for strengthen our military's cause they are not fully independent in this sector. Though, being silent on Ukraine war put some effect on their relationship. Atlast, India should maintain good relation with Russia for further help as well as peace.

In modiji's third term tenure as prime minister, this was the first time that a leader is visiting to Russia rather visiting to the neighbour country. After Russia's special operation on Ukraine this is the second time our pm is going to meet Russian president to strengthen the bilateral bond . India depends on Russia for crude oil and defence products and other products but Russia's dependency on china for Ukraine Russia war is the cornerstone for India. As India plays as a diplomat so it shows its neutral response on Russia Ukraine war. But the whole world is divided into two parts due to the war and it highly affect on world economy. So , every leader from every member country should take a proper decision to make harmony all over the world. Thanks !

The 22nd India-Russia Annual Summit is organised at Mascow in which Mr. Modi took part and this is his first choice for a bilateral visit in his third tenure, he also breaks tradition that Indian Prime Ministers travel to neighbouring countries on their first stand alone visit in a tenure, indicating the importance of India-Russia partnership. This is the first Modi-Putin meet since the Ukraine war and the last time the two leaders have met at the SCO summit where Mr. Modi has stated that this is not the era of war. There will be discussion on various matters for the fostering of relationship between two countries but India has been worried about its fallout on defense deliveries and spares from Russia and growing tension on LAC because of overdependence of Russia on China. However, NATO members meet in Washington to demonstrate Russia Isolation. So, all eyes on the Prime Minister's visit how he uses India as cause of dialogue and diplomacy and helps hasten an end to the conflict that has divided the world.

As we know russia has hold bilateral meeting with russia. Various countries came in the meeting but india is not condemning russia for war against Ukraine. They also met Ukranian president also. But our pm Modi was very neutral

IMPORTANCE OF INDIA AND RUSSIA PARTNERSHIP India and Russia have a bilateral relationship based on mutual trust and resilience. Russia has always been very polite and supportive of India during various wars. Russia helps India by providing arms and other benefits. Russia's dependency on China is increasing which is a concern for India. After winning the elections, Mr. Narendra Modi (Prime minister of India) conducted a summit with Russia to discuss trade and military relations and payment. As we all know, India has started to bring out its weapons, and the demand for arms from Russia. However, India cannot make itself fully independent in defense sectors. India always seemed silent in the Ukraine war as it will affect the relationship between India and Russia.
