literally couldnt agree more, these new mercs w204 and w205 in my opinion not as nice, the visibility, handling, build quality, reliability, and gorgeous sounding engine of the w203 remains unbeaten, i have c220 cdi 2006 luckily the only year without dpf, excellent car man! keep it until it dies which will probably be at 1 million miles, maybe even more haha

I have DPF model. Waste of money. It stop the particle until is full and after that is clean out with more fuel consumption . What environment protection it is this? DPF sistem is 1500 euro for nothing good.

+Edi T damn i didnt know that? do you have auto or manual? i have driven dpf and i change at 2500-3000 and the regeneration light never comes on, do you change gears earlier?

It is automatic transmision. In regenerating mode,transmision change to the same rpmlike normal (I don't force it),,no light for this,just engine noise it is diferent and fuel consumption grow to the same speed.

+Edi T damn dpf sounds like a pain in the ass. have u fully serviced recently, changed all the filters ?(use mann), also have u checked if ur brakes are binding, i noticed my cars discs kept scratching like the pads kept touching the discs even at slow speeds u can hear, i changed all the discs and pads and bled all the brakes and now its much faster and i got higher mpg. maybe ur brakes not good?
