you are subtracting a negative from a positive so that should be adding it. you need to explain this

@@bighands69 This is what threw me off at first too. I was thinking since CapEx is usually a negative number (for a healthy company that is investing in its future etc etc) and since the formula subtracts CapEx (ie, PP&E), using the example the formula might read "FCF = 5161 - (-1818) -> 5161 + 1818 = 6979. It seemed logical but stupid (!) so I'm glad to have folks like Edspira to give me the right answer (3343)! Thanks and Happy Easter Edspira !!

If the formula is a-b, and b is negative, than that is the same as a+b. In this video he ignores the negative sign, which in accounting is represented by the parentheses. So this doesn’t make sense.
