@@EdsRetroGeekOut Where I live there isn’t many retro toy stores, & they don’t have that great of a selection of old vintage collectible items it really hard to get certain gems unless I order online from somewhere else. So I enjoy watching your videos, it’s like I’m on the hunt with you & your fellow toy hunters 😁

The mighty max mail away brings back memories. As a kid I got that one and the Droid invader by saving the tokens on the back of Kellogg’s Coco pop’s cereal boxes. I think you could choose between Mighty Max and Polly Pocket

Ed, the "cow" in the back at 13:50 is the Minotaur from Crossbows and Catapults game. It was like an expansion thing. You put the projectile in between his horns and then it flings it....normally pretty expensive.

I love seeing buddies on toy hunts! I miss those days! I still collect but not so much vintage anymore(but still love it and own a lot) so I order online. Glad everyone is finding stuff. I like seeing Mighty Matty in the vids and Andy’s happy face at the end 😂

The Joker van is from Ertl, I’m surprised to see that in the UK. They made farm toys mainly but jumped on the Batman ‘89 band wagon when the movie came out, no one else was doing it. I had the smaller version as a kid.

Was at Nerdbase only on 7th Oct and wondered why it was a little empty on the good stuff that day, picked through that same box of mini figures Andy did. Yes that lighting in the game area needs improving, i have to use my phones light as a torch when going through it. Not had any luck haggling on vintage prices there though, prices seem fixed. Seems a influx in Toxic Crusaders, Bucky O'Hare being traded in since the reissues announced. Fortress Of Fangs is rare, Nerdbase only got that in around Aug, never seen another there.

@@EdsRetroGeekOut Id normally agree on the haggle rule in retail stores, however these are second hand items with no RRP where condition / completeness dictates value and are subject to massive price fluctuations / demand changes on eBay.

@EdsRetroGeekOut That's easy...The Toys!!!! All the way....I mainly like the classic games only. And I usually just buy collections of games or download games to my switch. Toys I'm on....Motu, Transformers, G.i. joe, Go-bots, Rocklords, Sectaurs, Super Naturals, Food Fighters, Tmnt etc. Horror figures!!! Horror and Motu are my top choices

The first store has the top floor dedicated to marvel and dc superheroes with some power rangers and retro games thrown in. Dude I loved seeing that one boxed the JP compound 😎

@Jedi_Daniel i was fortunate to find one at a flea market years ago without the box 🤓 for sure a great set that you could recreate a lot of the movie scenes with. But you’re right you really don’t see it that often. The mobile center playset from the lost world movie is even more uncommon.

I always pronounced Crystar like "Chris Star". I always figured the word was meant to sound like the word crystal, since the main hero was made of crystal.

@EdsRetroGeekOut I only have a couple loose incomplete figures. Wish I had more. As a kid I was too fixed on MOTU to collect them.

@EdsRetroGeekOut yeah I recall the comic from back then. And I've been trying to find up the comics too. I collect a lot of 80's stuff. Most of it things I wanted and never got as a kid. I was born in 75 and grew up with all the cool 80's toys and video games.

Wish there were better closeups and a bit more showings of the games, I collect games and evertime I see a game on here I want to see more of the condition and the prices.

@@EdsRetroGeekOut I've been watching all your videos in chronological order while sorting my game, and MTG collection, and there have been so many "teases" where a game has been shown for 3 seconds 🤣. I appreciate you showing us some of the games as well even though you don't collect em :) (Though I do spot games in your collection + you also collect gameboy games :) ).

Crystar is pronounced like Crystal but with an r at the end. I'm befuddled by pronouncing it as Cry Star.
