This review is dedicated to biplane model from the famous Czech brand. As you can notice, kit comes from Eduard and copies legendary Sopwith Camel. Yes, it is molded in 1/48 scale and won't take a lot of space on your bench. Moreover, this is a Profipack, so there are some useful bonuses inside. Let's open this box and check everything together.

Building the the Dual Combo Camel & Co kit of this right now, it's a really nice kit. I've tried Eduards older offerings such as the Fokker Dr.1 (2008) and D.VII (2005), it's definitely leaps and bounds better than those. Eduard has a tendency to overdetail and underengineer in their older WWI subjects, but the detailing is great (as can be on a simple plane) here, and the fit is genuinely quite good. One think I'd be aware of is the lack of spinning engine/propeller which is a real shame, if I knew that from the start I would have fixed it. Currently in various stages of painting my two models and am enjoying it more than any other biplane I've built.

this one uses new molding and design tech, so it is no wonder why this plastic is soooo good :) I am glad you are enjoying it
