Kiswahili has destroyed many bright students just as maths are destroyed many weak students

Let all our universities be respectable centers for research and excellence (inventions and innovations, universal academic and research centers to provide solutions to current and future problems) in areas where the student is best endowed (not a place for crammers and fake papers- Grade A with no value and productivity to vouch.) I salute this noble gesture. All students are gifted differently. No student (unless a psychotic or neurotic case) is foolish (total and overall.)

Going to university is important, but most important are jobs

Thank God for the ministry of education at least our children will have easier time and their efforts will be rewarded. The prior grading was meant to humiliate and pressure young students into depression yet every child is capable of performing.its demonic to show and favour some students just because they are good in science subjects. Who said the others who do history or geography are stypid. What a waste of space?? All children are very clever and wonderful. I hear them as I counsel them.

I was very good in sciences though I avoided being a doctor I ended up working in theaters in Britain. I'm in business now. So you never who a child can become In Britain as a young person I did so many courses inclung. A child can become whoever they want because you can learn many courses

ok what about those students doing 7 subjects ? ?

they should have excepted the current candidates, those in form 3 and 2 because they already made subject selection. when they say 5 best remaining subjects, are they aware that the only subjects remaining are 5, or will it include the language not yet factored. they need to come out clear.

FROM A CONCERNED PARENT. My question is this:- Is the grading system still being used as a yardstick for pupils to graduate to the next class???? Am talking about students between grade one and five (1-5) in the CBC system. I thought it was abolished. The experience I have as a parent of a grade one pupil left me with a very 'bad taste in my mouth'. Some schools have their own "internal" way of grading pupils by issuing in-house certificates for the "best performing" students who are seen fit to proceed to the next class. This does not however mean that the rest can't proceed. My son was not issued with the said certificate simply because he scored 4 in one subject - mathematics instead of the desired 3. It was the same case with the Rest of the pupils who scored 3 in all subjects except mathematics where they also scored 4. QUESTIONS; - Is this practice in line with the new CBC educational regulations? - Having known the negative effects of chronological ranking used previously, should this uncouth practice be allowed to continue? - Isn't this one of the reasons CBC was introduced - to end low self-esteem, victimization and superiority complex amongst learners? PLEASE ADVISE ME IF THIS IS A NORMAL PRACTICE IN ALL SCHOOLS. I STAND TO BE CORRECTED. THANKS 🙏🏽.

what if someone does three sciences and he or she is best in 2 maybe physics and chemistry and in addition he/she does only 2humanities does that mean biology will affect the final grading. What about the one who only does 7 subjects meaning the certificate will only have 6 subjects?

This man is is not notable 😮for being an education ministry . It make sense if math Science and languages to be complalsary. So every year 🇰🇪 prepare if u are 😷 e.g cancer go to Europe or india. For those who don't have 💰 just pray that the Lord will give us good health. Not everybody can be a doctor but if tyey are not complasry no students will ever work hard or put effort in those three subjects. There are students who loves sciences some love languages some love ethnics and e.t.c.❤❤ My opinion as a learned person😮
