Well this is a most helpful video, thank you! I'm new to ringing and just beginning to learn plain hunt. I find it very difficult to get a grip on what's going on in real time in the bell tower so being able to play your video over and over and over has been so very helpful. Can't wait until next practice night to see if I can finally do it! A couple of comments, which might possibly help others watching. It would be nice to have seen at least two full cycles of plain hunt rather than just one, so we can see the bit where the treble leads for two consecutive blows. Secondly turn the sound down, then ropesight is all you have. I found this helpful. Thirdly, being new to this it took me several views to realise there are actually six bells ringing when I was expecting there to be five! The tenor is covering, i.e. playing last blow all the way through. Not intended as criticism, just help for others at the same stage as me. many thanks again for posting this vid!

Really useful for me as a PH beginner, thank you. I found it even more helpful to set the speed on KZfaq Settings to 0.5 and keep repeating the first course (up to the point 0.27seconds in).

You’ve no idea how helpful this is. I was making good progress until we tackled method Ringing. Complete cognitive dissonance and collapse of style. It comes together when you are at your lowest ebb.

I'm a beginner bell ringer and I totally don't understand how to do plain hunt yet. I guess I have a long way to go.
