In 2019, a friend of Edward Wimmer (ROAD iD's Co-Founder) asked him to do a mountain bike race. Specifically, The Cape Epic which is a race in the extremely difficult Epic Series. Having never even owned a mountain bike before, Edward naturally agreed to do the race.
A few years later, hundreds of miles biked, and new countries visited, Edward became an Epic Legend. A pretty cool title, right?! This title is only given to those that complete three Epic Series races.
