LOVE the concept of a monthly return, especially with showing the map and contours. You might lead with the water temp and current/previous weather to set the stage. I also loved getting your initial instinct on where the fish would be, then the honesty on if it came true. Very educational. Keep up the great content... you are one-upping the Tactical Bassin guys, which is quite an accomplishment.

This is a good way to break down a lake in small sections at a time, I did something similar on Rayburn and Livingston years ago, but come to realize that it needs to be done quite often to keep up with the changes. Awesome way to explain it, keep up the hard work.

Edwin, I love this new series. If I was on a school board for a college I would do everything I could possibly do to get you to coach our bass fishing program. You have so much knowledge and are so good at teaching us here on the KZfaq channel. If I was young and was thinking about a professional fishing career I would watch and read everything you have done with bass fishing. I’m from Owasso and bought my fist bass boat in September. I’ve bank fished pretty much my whole life and always dreamed of having a boat and my dream has finally come true. Planning on mostly fishing Skiatook Lake but after watching this, I may change to Oologah. Definitely following along as I’m trying to learn patterns and figure these bass out. I am 100% on board with this series. My home lake and Most of the lakes around me that are 1-2 hr drive are flood control lakes; they are tough fishing. Finding pro’s willing to fish these types of lakes and with break down data is nonexistent. My home lake is now at winter pool 528....summer pool is 569. You never mentioned when this was filmed, summer level, the current lake level, and if the ACOE was drawing water to reach winter pool.

I am very interested in this series this is what pros need to be doing this is very educational for us average bass fisherman thanks so much for doing it

Great idea! There’s a reason EE is one of the best... tells us 17 pounds is a winning spring stringer on that lake. Goes out in November and catches 15 pounds in a few hours. Ha! Right on, dude! Can’t wait for more!

It would be really cool to see a comparison of baits and colors. Like one day fish a yellow spinner bait, then the next day with similar conditions fish a white one. You could also do it with a flappin' hog vs a sweet beaver. Scent vs no scent. Swimbait vs underspin. There are tons of possibilities

This is the first video of yours I’ve watched and I love the concept. Liked and subscribed. As for a video suggestion something I can’t find a good video on anywhere on KZfaq is identifying the different features and characteristics of fisheries. For example I can’t find a breakdown of what a channel swing, a bluff wall, a ledge, a road bed, or other parts of lakes, rivers and ponds are that anglers talk about all the time. I THINK I know what most of these things are but would love to KNOW for sure!

Edwin you need a small 2nd boat - Aluminum. I go into super skinny water with my 16ft Fisher Flat bottom with semi-V in very front. The only time I envy big glittery fiberglass boat fisherman is running down the lake at super speeds, compared to my 29 mph top speed. I fish with a partner sometimes in tournaments and tears pour from my eyes as we shoot down the lake with the 250 pushing us. It makes my heart sing but he doesn't like to fish with boat in less than 5ft of water.

Don't forget to talk about water temp, weather conditions, other possible baits. Awesome videos.

Love this idea of video series!! Would love to hear more about the conditions. Water clarity 2’ 4’? Post front? Steady conditions? And your thoughts on picking the bait for time of year and the consideration of staying in the same creek. Like usually you would pick this bait but because we’re in this creek I’m gonna pick that bait...love watching EE fish.

This is a great series double E. I really struggle in Dec., And 1st couple weeks if Feb. So this might help me if you or me can catch something outta this series. I live in Cincinnati area, and fish the ohio river and it's tributaries probably 80 %of the time. There's alot good lakes around but nothing over say 5000 surface acres unless your travel hour away. I just think if I can catch them in this river system I can catch them anywhere. And winter I just struggle alot.

Great start for this series and looking forward to the others. Keeping it real.. that's crucial for those of us who know that the truth aint always pleasant, but it's always important. BTW :0) I've watched Ott launch you into that river at least 20 times now.. LOL :0)

Edwin, can you explain the seasonal water temps that typically define what seasonal pattern bass potentially would be in? Let me clarify my thought: bass don't look at a calendar, and decide its fall, winter and so forth. I'm under the impression a bass differentiate the season by water temps. What is a general rule of thumb so to speak on those temps? I do understand there are other factors in play, such as weather patterns, shorter days, bait fish movements, but, I got to believe temp is a top deciding factor. How can an angler use these temps as a guide to what seasonal pattern these fish might be in? As always great content and production. You and the producer have created content that is way beyond KZfaq standards in my opinion. It's greatly appreciated. Looking forward to following this new series you are doing.

Rest research series! Looks like you need to burn a little more gas. 🎣🎣😅😅😅 They're chompin at the other end. Are you using a trailer hook? Do you use one all the time ? Also do you use thin wire spinner baits? I seam to do better with them. Especially the multi bladed baits! 3,4 and 5 blade baits.. . Everything is moving and wobbling. The thick wire brands are very rigid and don't seam to have as much action to me.. so I was curious on your thoughts and preferences??
