@@dariussalepetru6770 TGM will obviously get nominated for Editing, Cinematography, Sound, Visual Effects, Directing, Song, Tom Cruise and Picture. That makes 8. Anything less than 2 wins and I'mma be pissed and I as sure as hell will only watch the Oscars ever again when they start to accolade MOVIES (that push the envelope) instead of average corruption BS.

Glad to see Argentina 1985 on the non English best film category. It got so far nominations for the big three before the Oscars: Golden Globes, Critic's Choice and BAFTA. It's fair to say it will definitely be nominated at the Oscars.

I love that Bill Nighy and Paul Mescal got in for Living and Aftersun, respectively (although I'm still rooting for Colin Farrell to win). And it's pretty neat that the brilliant Nobel Prize winning author Kazuo Ishiguro is now a BAFTA nominee. I would have loved to see some nominations for the Menu, especially for Ralph Fiennes, but one can't have everything.

Not a particular fan of Eddie Redmayne. He always looks miscast in roles due to the fact I can’t get past the fact he perennially looks like a 14yo boy. But I have to say his performance in The Good Nurse blew me away. His work in that film was masterful. He deserves it on sheer craft alone.

How unbelievable that RRR and Top: Gun Maverick got the snub at the Baftas, alongside The Fablemans (despite only getting a single nomination for Best Original Screenplay). And not to mentioned that The Menu, also got the snub at the Baftas. Again, how unbelievable.

The Fabelmans got snubbed. Anyone knew that snub was coming. Also, Steven Spielberg didn't make it for Best Director category, while Michelle Williams, Paul Dano, and Judd Hirsch didn't make it within the acting categories in the Bafta nominations.

I don’t understand why Stephanie Hsu for EEAAO was snubbed. I think Angela Bassett was so overrated in “Wakanda Forever”, She has never won any critics precursors and next thing you know there she was at the critics choice receiving best supporting actress win.

Stephanie needed to campaign real hard to get a nomination and within her costars she simply doesn’t have a strong narrative to ensure the nod. Angela Bassett is a classic case of rewarding a veteran. She should’ve have won somewhere in the 90s but didn’t, now that she has even more prestige and worked with half of Hollywood the path is clear, think about Allison Janney/Melissa Leo. I’d love to see Kerry Condon or Dolly de Leon get it but the narrative simply isn’t there :(

Cate blanchete in ( tar) .. make good( acting ) but she make ( bad role )✖✖✖ the role was empty .. film maker they know character.. is ( orchest maestro ) but they dont know the story about her So they make sceanes without any story. Cast make tar dont respect audience.. with critics same. Daniell deadwyler she deserve (the bafta👑). She was in ( till) fantastic actroess💖💖 She make ( good acting👏) and ( good role 👏) in sama time.👍 So she deserve(the oscar✅) But daniell deadwyler... have honest realistic deep feeling in role ( till) ... and real story want to tell and she has a ( case with message ) in this film.. and she is a new face make role as professional.. and do ( biography ).. Till give best actress in this year. 👏👏👏💯 And the film besed on true story.. about racist and motherhood.. so touch people. In the year Daniell deawyler...and laura dern ..( best actress in leading and supporting role. Not cate blanchete✖ and angla basset✖ Hugh jackmen and brendan fraser.. best actor. Not austin butler. I Will be surprised if daniell deadwyler.. get the bafta.. i wish that happen. Bafta must correct the awards season.. and dont give cate the award.
