I am firmly of the belief that Tool can pick many songs by other bands and make it sound inherently like Tool. I like the Peach original too, but of course, being a Tool fan, this is amazing.

Love this cover and this album as a whole. I think you should also react to "The Witness," which is an instrumental song made by Adam, Danny, and Justin, and it's pretty cool. Love your videos by the way!

Yea Justin's blows me away. I choose seats in front of him everytime i see Tool. In fact i always sit in front of bass at any show. Tomorrow night in San Diego ima be right in front of Sergio Vega watching Quicksand blow away Southern California 😅 🤘

Maynard and Danny met through the Band Green Jelly too. You should check out "Three Little Pigs" by Green Jelly

Maynard is the voice for the line "Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin". Danny was the drummer. It was after them meeting, and playing together that Danny introduced Maynard to Adam, and the rest is history.

Maynard and Adam were introduced by a mutual friend and Maynard then was introduced to Danny by becoming his neighbor.

Play you lied by peach to feel the rhythm also spasm by peach/tool also listen to demon cleaner by kyuss/tool ... even no quarter by zeppelin/tool match the renditions and see how it's toolified

theres 2 other covers they did but only live in 98 but only bootlegs exist, one was demon cleaner by Kyuss (godfather of stoner rock) and stranglehold by Ted Nugent, there was rumors of them covering comfortably numb as well but I can never find the video.

I would not say that Merkaba is a "normal" Tool song, although some parts near the end almost do sound like a "song". Did you check out the Tool instrumental "The Witness". It may be a guitar commercial - but it is also an amazing instrumental by Adam, Justin and Danny.
