Basically it is 90% the exact same old Effectrix ! This should have been a free upgrade as a gift to loyal customers !

well its not just a GUI, there has been some reworking.. but I agree charging $79 for an upgrade to Effect-ly do the same things as you could before... yeah super cheeky. even worse if the plugin gos on offer on the regular. Thats why I see a lot of companies do.. they charge a lot for their Plugin & then have 3 offers a year..

Maybe check out the demo, and it will show that Effectrix 2 got new effects and it comes with lots of new features. ;-)

That is why I love FL Studio, updates free for life. I mean atleast make it a bit affordable.

Ah...I really wanted to love this but it's not a "no brainer upgrade or purchase", for me. It looks really good but I wish there was more than GUI update, as others mentioned. Say, 1 few more effects, and tons of presets...would have been an easier decision. And now, If I want to buy more Sugarbytes effects, I know that I'll have to pay 79$ for their update, which is not a good selling point to get Turnado now, for example (since It would come to 129+79 as soon as it upgrades? This is .... ouch. Anyway, My business strategy would have been to make it a 20$ upgrade, and this would convince people to buy may V1 plugins now....in confidence that they won't have to pay 161% of the price to to get V1 and V2 when those come out. We love your stuff! Please keep making them, but consider those pointers above : ) Now, if you don't own Effectrix, get it. My mentors have it and it's amazing. I'll get it soon. Thanks for the update guys, keep up the good work!

This is not a simple update of Effectrix 1 (which are always for free), it is a completely new product with many new features. The basic structure is, no doubt, similar, but in Effectrix2 now the signal flow can now be reordered, it got new effects, advanced mix blending modes and a new modulation system has been added, that means a deeper and refined modulation which can be applied per step. The Looper effects are packed with new features. For example, you can now apply swing to your loop, define a repeat pattern or gradually change the pitch or size of the loop. And not to forget, in addition there are intelligent randomization options with intensity levels. You can randomize the whole pattern, a single effect track or the setup of the effect parameters. Check it out, and it will show that the "technicalities" and the usability make Effectrix2 a completely different beast of a plugin when it comes to workflow and eventually results.

Too much cool enhancement, Thank You Sugar Bytes Team, I've been using Effectrix 1 just for one of its presents where it reverse the sound, yesterday I saw the new version and Version 2 z much much more advanced then version 1.

looks very clean the knobs give a lil Arturia vibe but I like it can't wait to map the knobs to my midi keyboard and thx for the preset select option with the keyboard I don't see why all these companys wont implement it in their plugins

Question- will the saved presets I made on the previous version of Effectrix work with this new version? If so, I’m def planning to buy this!!

Effectrix(1) and Effectrix2 are "separate" plugins. It is a new product with different effects and a whole new concept. So unfortunately Effectrix2 will not recall settings made with Effectrix(1), the serial number is also not compatible but you can use both instances at the same time.

And where is the reverse function? i buy the effectrix 2 because of the reverse function for my drums but i cant find it. Is it possible that the reverse function is only on the old effectrix?

Looper B is explicitly capable of creating reverse effects. Looper A has also a reverse playmode. Maybe check out the global reverse presets as well as the effect presets of Looper B.

I am not sure, but this seems more like an effect trigger sequencer than looperator that was more concentrated on sample manipulation/editing.

Please get rid of the background music. It's distracting. If you're going to demonstrate the sounds Effectrix makes, then demonstrate them. If you're going to use them as muzak, then it's not a tutorial video, it's a sales pitch.

The absurd update price is such a big FUCK YOU to your loyal customers that I honestly won't ever demo or purchase another Sugar Bytes product again. Even Sugar Bundle owners were asked this price. Like, WTF...
