This might alleviate the good old shaking down glue in the glue bottle! Reminds me of the days when we used to shake down thermometers in the hospital......I don't miss that either!

Maymay, the different colored cap tip is a slightly different size, a bit bigger for glues that are thicker, like Glossy Accents. If you prefer the thinner tip, you could change out the one that the Nuvo glue comes with, and put the thinner one on your AGG and the thicker one on the Nuvo glue. I ordered mine from My Sweet Petunia the day she announced it, it’s due to arrive today! I’m excited as I have severe arthritis in both hands. I think, as you say, this will be a game changer for me!

Maymay TFS! This was a good review! I would have to say for my fellow frugal crafty friends Karen Burniston has had a tip for using her fine liner glue. She uses a recycled glass yogurt jar with damp papertowels in the bottom. While she is working on her project the glue is tip side down in the jar. When she is ready to glue, her bottle is ready to go every time. I was curious so I have been trying it out for myself. Game changing, impressed! The glue doesn't run out or clog and its ready to go when iI need it. Time saver as well not having to stop and put that pin in every time. I hope this idea can be helpful to someone else who loves this hobby but finds their budget doesn't allow for all the bells and whistles. Now the MISTI, well that is a stamping game changer and worth saving for! I am thankful everytime I use it.💯📌

I love AGG, the big top just flowed out when I tried it in the stand so I had to change it to the smaller tip and they seems to be working ok so far.

Great review as always! I'm a florist, we use a tiny bit of Vaseline on the threads of our glue bottles. This works with all glue from sticking to itself! Also.. at The $1.25 tree, they have your stamp shelf crates IN WHITE!!! $1.25! I bought about 20 of them! Lol.. but it saves you a few bucks from the black Walmart ones! 🎉

I have arthritis in my hands, and the the thicker glues I love I can now use by hardly squeezing handle at all - gloss accents come out of the fine tip like a dream and Simon says stamp craft tacky glue is amazing in this thing. Even my husband tried it and was impressed when he went from trying to squeeze the fine tip bottles I used for both of those to this one. And I left my bearly art glue unstopped for 4 days and never clogged or stopped working.

@@deborahanne9793 for me it was easy to squeeze - my toddler could even use it. Bearly Art glue is my preferred glue and it squeezed out with hardly any pressure - my hands love it!

May May; You can use whatever glue you want but from the first time I used Tonic glue I honestly got rid of every other glue I owned and I had plenty . My issue was with my Arthritic hands the bottle was painful. This is all I need. Yes, for mirror stock, glitter stock it takes longer to dry but it holds THE VERY BEST!!!!

Hi Maymay. I love Nuvo Deluxe glue (regular version) It is my main glue now. Mainly because the built in plastic nozzle that does not clog.

I use the cake icing ones that has all kinds metal tips but this seems it would be better especially if it holds titebond glue in it.

I'm an Art Glitter Glue lover, but I really like the Nuvo glue, it works well on vellum too with no show. The only thing, the glues I have only came with the plastic bottle nozzle, if that makes sense, and it's horrible with clogging. I'll have to see if they have alternative tips. I love that gun and holder!

You made a unboxing video a few years back on Barely Art Glue. Seems like I would be spending 2 to 3X as much just for the stand and handle capacity of this press and if it would help your hand that's worth it, I suppose. Can you give us a comparison of the NUVO glue as it compares to the Barely glue? Thank you for the information.

Seems like a really good gadget. Curios how it works when you're low on glue in the bottle. 🤔 Will the air be enough to push the last of it out when you squeeze the handle? Can't wait to see how you feel after having used it for some time :)

Great review. I also saw Simon Hurley's review and he seemed to like it as much as you did. I think I'm going to enjoy this tool especially as my hands get older! And it looks super adorable sitting on your desk. Great job My Petunia!

How does the art glitter glue with the smaller size compare? Is the opening on the AGG smaller?

They are a different color because the fine tips are different sizes.

Love mine and saving money on double sided tape and atv tape. But when I refilled like you did, it clogs all the time, every swipe. And I can't figure out why. First bottles worked perfectly and never ever clogged if I used base. But now I have to screw on cap to clear after ever use, even with base. So so disappointed. And sweet petunia gave me no helpful suggestions.😢

I wanted to like this since I do have a hand issue, and I’m a tool junky! But the way I hold my hand - the hand angle - won’t play nice with how the glue gun needs to be held, if that makes sense. I’d have to hold my hand differently. Someone reviewing it a few days ago pointed out that that might be an issue for some people. But it could be good for some people.

MayMay, try adding glue directly to the surface you are working on - not up in the air -I saw another unboxing recently and the reviewer said you have to tilt your hand sideways each time to get the tip to reach the paper. This worries me somewhat but would like your opinion on that aspect please ❤

Will help limit glue, so there will be a saving, and will make it possible for my arthritic fingers to craft again. Seems like a wonderful expenditure for me!!
