Our small rugs have anti slip so they stay in place... we have a larger 5x8 not on slips but it stays steady (probably more due to its larger size) so safe to assume some push around if you have a smaller rug on a solid floor like LVT/LVP/Tile etc!

For reference I have both the S7 Pro Ultra (NOT the MaxV) and a Braava Jet M6. You can use virtually any *cleaning* solution (safer if made specifically for robot mops - Bona, for instance). What you must specifically avoid is anything that claims to nourish/ hydrate/ wax your floor since these will likely clog the spray nozzle.

They will go home for low battery, and you can set it to only run for a shorter clean if there are a lot of debris.

No apparent change to cleaning performance but it would be interesting to learn more about these sorts of changes from the brand!

@@DigitalDavid yes do these wheels slip when mopping on tile? I recently bought a roomba J9+ Combo, and that thing can't mop my tile floor without slipping around. I using the recommended cleaner in it. So wondering if roborock does that too

Totally! But maybe they will release an S8 MaxV Ultra at some point???. Although at this price point I'm thinking that would be a huge struggle to go even higher with another model!

Although the dual brush roller is a huge win in my book!

@@DigitalDavid The dual brush helps with better cleaning of carpet I think, but hardwood floors not much difference. After much research, I purchased the S7MaxV because of the removable mop pad and water tank. Having different levels of the house with the dock only on one level is a problem. When cleaning a level the dock is not on, you have to wait for mop to wash and wet before picking it up and taking it to another level. I like being able to just grab the robot, run water on pad real quick, fill water tank and place it on the level and go. I do this for other levels without the dock whenever I go out the door real quick to run errand or whatever. Also lot of complaints about build-up in water tank which could be a problem if its not able to be accessed. If something goes awry with the new S8 Ultra dock, the robot is useless also. The S7MaxV just makes more sense to me!!
