Running the Standard Envirovent 100 here. Quiet as the grave. Yes, it requires switched live... but as the cables were already in place... easy to install. While the video featured one looks great... at 76 years old I am a firm believer in ye olde saying: If it isn't there... It cannot fail. .

Watching this just after getting one. Just have to connect the two wires in the morning. Delighted to see I made a good choice. Think I'll replace the fans in our other two shower-toilet rooms

Fitted one recently in a basement that the customer had tanked and was using as a home cinema. Impressed in just how quiet it is in operation, which is why we went for this model.

Ive got a motion sensor in my bathroom for Philips hue lights so my switch is permanently on , does that mean that this can be connected to the same feed to work

how loud is this thing in DB is there any test? i want to use this thing in vocal booth for vocal recording so it have to very very quite

Gary's sound is about 10 dB below Gordon's which makes him hard to follow. It would be better if both presenters could have the same levels. On some earlier videos Gordon's sound is so loud it distorts, making his voice harsh.

Can I fit in my ceiling ... And will the extracted air /steam evoporate into a ducting or loft space

Needs to be ducted to outside the building.

If you don't duct to outside, yes, it will fill your loft with warm damp air... not good! The instructions say how to duct through the roof. This 100mm fan will struggle. You'd need the 150 mm version. This is really good for a straight, smooth duct through wall just 300 to 400 mm thick; no bends, no corrugation, and short

No electric to loft. Could I take perm live from lighting JB in loft to a fan switch then to fan . Cheers nice vid... just wonder how much humidity to set off

Cheaper elsewhere, eg TLC. As pensioner retiree DiYer, I can't understand getting lower grade products for your home. Relative to incomes, things like this are far cheaper than 30 years ago (same with computers, tools, TVs, even cars) and often (not always) better quality

Pity the bath rooms I have, the lights and the fan are on the same switch. Otherwise I like to have a quieter fan.

I only fit envirovent fans. Great products and don't require the stupid 3 amp fuse 💪

Ni you won't hear the fan with constant blabbering . It's must be pretty load that's why they are taking non-stop. Be quite so we can hear the fan.

Woah pricey lol...people won't pay that for a fan, Manrose are what customers see and want. Its a race to the bottom on pricing these days. great fan though. I like the back draft shutter too, a lot don't have that feature.

It's weird how we Brits boast of how cheap we got a job done. Neighbours even angry with me when they see I've installed a pricier option. In this case, pir detectors for light and fan, they eventually realise no mould, no noise in bedroom close to bathroom, no loud click by someone using toilet in middle of night, light and fan not staying on... is a good idea and how can they do it, too?

There are three sizes up to 150mm. A 100mm fan is best extracting straight through a wall. There are videos and articles for guidance about fan power needed where long runs and bends in the duct
