The sounds from this module are awesome. I have not even bothered with Superior Drummer or Slate or any other VST's so far. It simply hasn't been necessary. I might get Superior Drummer again later just to have more sounds, but I don't feel lacking in what I need for ANY project with the sounds that come STOCK in the Efnote module!

This song is just a simple crazyness, totally Mad !! The kit sounds amazing and this it surprises me alot and i said why ? Is a 10 lugs bass drum!! Maybe for effect!!

One of the best examples of an Efnote kit recorded I’ve heard. Sounds fantastic. What’s the processing in logic, if you don’t mind me asking.

Thank you, Stephen! Michael Bedard handled all the processing, so I would have to defer to him on what settings he used in Logic. The sounds straight out of the module are pretty amazing, though.

@@michaelstonedrums6877 Thanks for the reply. I know the sounds of this kit (without having played one) quite well from the many demo vids. I can tell the processing is subtle at most, sounds like comp on individual kit pieces and a buss comp on the whole kit perhaps. Maybe a smidge of eq too. No not like chalk and cheese amount of processing. But very effective, still defo shows the potential within a DAW.

@@steevidrums I'm excited for the Pro module they have coming out, as it offers compression and much more in-depth settings, as well. When I use this kit for live-streaming, I'm just running the audio out of the module into a mixer with flat EQ, and only some reverb here-and-there as dictated by the songs or my mood, haha. I hope you get the chance to enjoy these drums for yourself!!

Great playing. Just bought the efnote 5 and love it. Nearest sounding real acoustic kit so far ever produced IMO. What snare, tuning and muffling settings did you use for the recording please. It sounds really good!

The Vajra kit is not in the kit library. There are only "Iron Warrior", "Light Jazz", "Good old days", "Focus 5". Where is this new kit available from? Thanks.
