I have a feeling that's the module and the device that's mounted next to the kit is a controller unit. That's how it appears to me anyway, I have only seen this video so I know no more of it.

@@ArtesiaProNorthAmerica ok, but what we need now is a smaller hobby version of this to compliment the 3/5/7 for use at home. Most of us have knowhere near the cash to afford the Pro module for home use. Don’t know the price but expect it to be out of reach for most Efnote owners.

@@Doogsay We haven't even released this yet, and this is a major jump for the brand, and addresses a vast amount of user feedback issues and a wishlist of features. The point of the EFNOTE PRO is it is a pro-level system. There are 18 configurations of it, all the way down to Ringo setups. This is definitely not for everyone, but this is packed full of features no other brand has, like 12 channels of balanced XLR. This is an engineers dream. Like the bell of the hi hat, separate bus mix/ monitoring and Main monitoring, 6 dedicated channels of compression, much larger iPad style touch screen... These are pro features and are not needed for practicing at home, but if any of our customers want it, they can run their existing module through i and route it out through the PRO as well..

@@ArtesiaProNorthAmerica yes but it’s at a scale for stage use with a (likely) price to match. We need something for the home hobbyist.

3, 3X, 5, 5X, 7, 7X and PRO. This is a list that was built in an incredibly fast time, and started smack at the beginning of Covid. Every feature on this new system of kits is something that the "we" needed. We listened and created it. What is it exactly that you want? Do you want the features of the PRO but at the price of the 3 - 7X?

I guess your comment is supposed to be a joke. The Efnote Pro module will be available as an upgrade to the existing Efnote setups. You can start at any price level (I’d suggest starting with at least an Efnote 5) and then move forward as your bank balance deems fit. For anyone who requires more than what the existing Efnote 5 or 7 modules already offer the added cost will be relative. It’s like starting with a basic ATV kit and then later expand it with a PMP module (except the Efnote path is way better).

@@ArtesiaProNorthAmerica Basically the ability to create the awesome pad configs on the efnote website with a 5, but just for home practice use. Meaning, the same inputs but simplified (and cheaper) outputs. Perhaps a simplified display. I know pricing isnt out yet, so just speculating, but the PRO would seems to be out of reach for amateurs. Ill need to get something like eDrumin. Keen to know when the upgrade packages and new pads will be visible on the optional components web page, given that they are visible on the configs page.

@@agusg.t.8950 the This is totally compatible with existing modules, something we've tried to convey for the last 3 years but now we can show. The market is used to obsoletism, we've committed to changing that.

@@ArtesiaProNorthAmerica Amen to that! This is really what many of us would need or want. Starting with a 5, 5X, 7 or 7X and then adding to it as far as GAS dictates and the wallet stretches. (GAS = Gear Acquisition Syndrome, of which many drummers seem to suffer).

Sounds like you have as HELL of a set up as anyone could imagine already!

@@steevidrums Hey! I've been a bit tied up in some other things at the moment but you're right, I ought to get something out about it!

I think it’s safe to say the pieces are interchangeable. Meaning you can just swap out the module on your existing kit. Unless there’s something I’m missing but my money is on I haven’t.

@@steevidrums but, the Pro module will be far too expensive for the average home user on the 3/5/7. What we need now is a smaller hobby version of the pro.

@@Doogsay sure I get that. But that’s the nature of pro end modules. If it’s out of your budget you make what you’ve got work for you. But that’s said, who knows what they’ve got planned. Perhaps a more scaled down version is just a year away.

It's just been reported that the unit will be in the high end module price bracket i.e. TD50/Pearl Mimic bracket. So $2500 USD. An entire set up probably will set you back a kidney though! That said, Roland don't seems to have issues knocking out top end complete set ups for $8000+ plus.

i thinks its the other way around! Does it need the screen/control?? i could have been a simple touch monitor with usc-c cable (cheap)

Thank you for your purchase. We only started shipping the PRO 4 months ago and have not officially announced an app, but one is being developed and beta tested. We are still in the initial rollout of this new product, new instruments will be added to the PRO's library but this will most likely not be ETA announced, but will be released. Hope you are enjoying your kit!
