Hey Spoony, I wonder if you could tell me this... How the hell do I get a dipping shot to activate? Since 1.0 released I've only ever seen shots dip from volleys, the way the do naturally with a lot of volleys and with players who don't even have the dipping shot skill! In Pro Evo 21 they always just activated automatically, I guess it was a contextual thing, but in Efoo I've yet to see one. The majority of players I have with the skill seem to also have rising shot and when I use a stunning shot it's almost always the rising shot they hit, which I hate as it always rises too much and too soon and goes way over the bar. Also, would it have to be performed as a stunning shot, or can it be performed as a normal shot? Loved it in Pro Evo 21 and scored loads of them, especially with Nedved who seemed to do them for fun just from normal shots and scored some of the best goals I've ever scored with him!

i was curious about the part where we dont release the sprint while shielding, shielding does not override the sprint? if so releasing the shielding would initiate the sprint quicker but since you emphasized on releasing the sprint button, i wonder what the failure would be. Also, is there a way to tell(like player animation changes) why a shielding fails? atm i would not if it was lack of balance or physical contact stat...

If you sprint whilst shielding it would create bigger separation between player and ball and that means someone in front could easily take ball. Best to keep your opponent behind you, he can't win ball and means he'll need to draw another player from defence. So if you're walking.... can evade him too. Not sure what you mean by your second question bud. It's down to physical contact mainly, balance and player weight. Height may have an impact too but don't think so....just think a lot of tall players weigh more.

OMG i was always holding shield and wondering why it did not do anything. Could not shield any ball with Kane when charged from behind....

Yeah in a way it's a glitch of the mechanics. You get the power of a full shield without moving far away from the ball!

@@SpoonyPizzas Well you should just be able to press and hold the shield button, as you want to shield all the time when chased from behind...

Which is better in your opinion in this tactic a player with high physical contact or player with high balance ?

It's a difficult one to call. I think both stats calculate together in a weird way but I think balance has a greater impact.... because Haaland is rubbish and gets knocked off ball easily. He has high physical but low balance.

Im not shure but i think physical contact is more like to get the ball and balance for holding the ball and not falling down so fast. I think thats why most dmf player have high physical contact especially destroyer. But like spoony said its weird and both calculate together in some way and yes Haaland defenitely sucks when he try to holding the ball XD But we could test it with a 60 rated player give one 90 balance and the other 90 physical contact and test which one shields the ball better. They should be same height and weight.

@@SpoonyPizzas maybe thats why they put physical contact to aerial strength and shielding only benefits from balance... that i would love to think about it as it s simple but it seems , physical contact benefits when the players are somewhat stationary like aeriel duels and trapped balls and balance is when player is moving with the ball

To be honest it's not overpowering, just this once id say if your player has the right attributes you have some seconds to shield your self ,but also your pressing the wrong button that's why the guy continues to block you , ifyou tap on ○ button you will push him off the ball or stand tackle him

Shoulder barge's have been nerfed. Doing those from behind result in a foul now. Definitely OP (wait for my dribbling tutorial)

@Spoony Pizzas yeah noticed abit though , konami's ref has always been on drugs ,can't wait to see the dribbling tutorials cus that's where I'm very poor at , apart from R3 dribble which I only use the rest doesn't work

Shielding doesn't work when the scripting is turned on. You could have a 7' 0" 25 stone player with 95 strength and 95 balance and literally a 5 '8" player with half the stats will come behind him and you'll see your player either warp sideways away from the ball so he can nick it, or they'll flat out ignore stats and have that player flying off the ball with the Star Wars Force Push or Force Pull. The game is ridiculously programmed.
