From Jude Bellingham celebrations to dribbling animations, eFootball just released their biggest game update yet! Also this update is hinting towards a Master League mode coming soon, which is what we have been waiting for. What do you like most about this new update?

I am not going to lie, I have a love hate relationship with this game. I love the gameplay man, especially against the AI, it's just amazing and so enjoyable. But then the animations of celebration, the audience and the sideline is just very very basic, Fifa is miles ahead in that regard. Then is the graphics and lightning and shadows in this game, it's just astonishing, the implementation of ambient occlusion is so well done, especially when you play the game at 1440p and above, but then you see the turf in the gameplay and it's just a 2D green plane that looks like it was exported for Playstation 2! And then the content.. I really want to play this game and expirement in the offline modes and everything, but there is literally nothing to do! Even in online, I rank up my division, then what? I get iconic players, then what?! This game is in a very very weird and awkward position right now. The potential is huge, but I just don't know what Konami has been doing in the last three years. These big updates could have literally been launched 18 months ago. Konami is taking so so much time to add very insignificant details to the gameplay and cinematics, and it's so frustrating.

My man👊. I am doing the same thing. Still best footie till this day and by far as I may add. New kits and updates players is basically having a "new" game every year. Only downside is not having the new rules like having 5 subs instead of 3. But thats a trade off Ill gladly take.

@@samtastisch86 absolutely. The interesting thing is... since pes20 i played it for 3Years. Than since last year Septembre i switched to PES21 and it felt like a better game. Pes20 was good but 21 is really much better. Im happy with it :D. Yes you need only the update Kits etc. On PC is more Fantastic with Mods etc. but i playing on PS4.

I remember playing efootball when it first came out, and it was just bugged and unplayable. I've downloaded efootball 2024 and I quite enjoy it apart from the weird animation, or lack of, where the player just freezes after being dispossessed. The transition from PES to eFootball was a shocker, I'm kind of glad they've some of the gameplay I enjoyed back

Yeah it was weird to see it only included just after I started playing efootball. I could've sworn it was in PES and searched every menu, but couldn't be found. But here it is now. My only gripe is, it's such a rare item, and the times you do get them and use them, they select positions already allocated. 😒

Doesn't EA have the license for basically everything now? PES would legally not be able to put more leagues in the game without licensing to do so.

Not exclusively no, pes already has a big enough database of players and player likeness. But in its prime they had offline modes with ‘fake’ team names leagues and kits, there’s no licensing issues stopping them bringing this back… all the players and teams are still in the game. They removed these offline features to force micro transactions with this garbage ultimate team style game. So disappointed with what it’s become.

Still, I give them the benefit of the doubt on this issue because it's clearly not good for business, and I'd rather assume that there is an actual impediment we don't know of, instead of that the ones making the decisions are just stupid. That is, unless it's actually working out for the companies involved, and they're making good money; at that point, although it's frustrating from the players' perspective, I can't blame them for doing what the economic system is all about.

Nah 😢 way to fast now. So fast that even the System can't handle it in many situations!! It's too much back and forth bad passing now. Players can't react and ball possession almost impossible now

I still play PES 2021 with the 23-24 update and i dont know, that game still looks more crips than this one. The graphics on that game are cleaner, even though this one looks good that one still looks better. Also there are none of these bogus points, micro things happening all the time. Is this basically a mobile game ported to PS5? like. But it is much better compared to the disaster it was when it came out, thats for sure. One thing that still keeps me from switching to this too, is that there is no option files for this, you can not update all the players, logos, teams etc...jerseys...like in 2021.

efootball movement is still weird, like how they pass the ball with the outside of the foot, players do it yes but the execution is weird on pes, how they turn when they have the ball too, and the most annoying thing about it is when you're in possession of the ball and the opponent touches it, your player stumbles even without being touched and gives you little chance to get it back or recover it immediately

The graphics is a joke compared to Fifa (FC 24). FC draws each individual hair and doesn't slap a blob on the head that has hair textures. Jerseys in FC are separate objects that are not glued to the body. eFootball graphics hasn't changed for years. If only they combined the FC's graphics and presentation with eFootball's gameplay. That would have been a perfect game

@@freddibna4976 Yes, but that has to do with the game engine. Fifa has always looked like players are just gliding on ice rather than running on a turf. That is why I don't like playing Fifa or FC. But Fifa's (FC's) graphics is far superior, head and shoulders above one of eFootball

Hahahhahaha they just keep people "invested", there is no ML coming. Having said that Im still playing PES21 with latest squad and new kits. Basically Im playing a "new" game every year and it doesnt cost me anything, no real money for dumbass cards and I actually can play a ML offline. Id highly recommend.
