I reached to the first division with Xabi Alonso using the 3-4-3 formation. I used Fast defenders (one central Destroyor), light midfield (one orchestator and one box-to-box). Wingers with good defensive, offensive and stamina stats. At the attack I put two SS and one CF (Rummenigge and Mbappe are great) It's important to keep pressure, the wingers most of the time is free marking.

I have been using that first formation for so long since start of efootball 23.I have been using that exactly as you explained with defensive fullbacks too.I saw noone using that formation except me I though i created that formation😅.It was so good in efootball 23 but now it's a little bit weaker.I think it's because they nerfer dribbling that formation required a lot of dribblings from 2 AMs and SS.

I've spent 22 skill training tokens to finally get through passing on Ronaldinho. And it's all worth it. He is my favorite all time player :) I havent been playing PES (yes I still call it pes) in a long long time and it's funny how many people I still destroy online. I've been playing PES or Pro Evolution Soccer from the very first game that has been released and it's still the best football game out there. Back in the good old days I always played possesion game type (and I still do now sometimes) but I have to say that quick counter is so deadly. You tear your opponents apart so rapidly. 48 years old now and again rocking this game. Never thought I missed PES this much. I like your channel bro. You are informative and really help people out how to understand the mechanics of this game. Keep up the good stuff and it would be nice to play against you sometime bro.

Unfortunatly we all are forced to play QC because no matter how hard i try with possession its just not effective as QC. My favorite playstyle together with possession, LBC is nerfed without any reason.

@mednasah Its a 3-3-1-3 Sounds mad i know but 3CBs all build up and wide as possible. Interesting part- central CMF(Gerrard) 2 AMF or CMFs as high as possible but these are the workers! Matthäus and Ambrosini i use. Trent is good too. Basically energy defensive passers. These need to be on stay back and deep line. They instantly slot between the CBs and overlap cover. But because they are positioned higher, they run the CDM roles up to high CMF positions. The CMF(Gerrard) goes everywhere. You always have a 5 without possession and 3 in midfield with the ball. Its sold in attack and defence! Then 1 AMF that can dribble well, pass and shoot with distance. (Figo) While the other 3 do the work, he's the like player. 2x SS either side of the CF and slightly deeper. Blitz Chiesa and Baggio. SS start deeper so the counter movement starts deeper and you have players if you need to pass more around the opposition. 1xCF Saviola or whoever with that playing AI It feels solid. And rather than wasting positions on RB/LBs you have quality midfielders on the pitch. They run, tackle,pass. Keeping it tight at all times. Midfield and defence. Lahm would be good as the deep CMF too. Ill do a photo on Twitter(X) Most complete set up ive used. Remember the deep line,defensive players need to be AMF/CMF high positioned on the set up.

I found 4-4-2 with LMF, RMF, and CMF-DMF pair, 2 CFs, 4ATB as the most balanced I also use back line instruction on my DMF so it becomes 5ATB when out of ball and it feels just like a wall behind

I actually like 3 destroyers at the back, 3 CBs Maldini, Puyol and Albert Ferrer (like a quick RB) and Araujo at LB (position training) using quick counter. I have one of my tactics as deep line on Rijkaard (Anchor Man) and it works really well. The defenders are able to press early as the other defenders drop back and cover with Rijkaard covering as well. Anyone who thinks that this is crazy well... Almays got to number 1 doing something similar. My orchestrator helps the right of defence and my LM helps the left too, but I play a RW or SS on the right. My eyes light up when I see someone playing meta 🤷🏻‍♂️

I recommend a formation that you didn't mention but gave me high winning rate: 3313. 3 CD 3 DMF: 2 box-to-box on the side, 1 anchor in the middle. 1 AMD/CMF: box-to-box or hole player 3 Attackers: 2 poacher + 1 SS (I use classic No. 10) You see 6 defending players. But because 2 of them are box-to-box, and using Xavi Alonso, these 2 will push up a lot. So you will have at least 6 players defending and 6 players joining attack. to defend the opponent wingers, set one DMF and the CMF as deep line. The anchor man will drop deep automatically. When there are too many players joining the last line of defense, they will automatically spread out and covering the wing back position
