Ramil Balmania that is indeed pretty high praise considering earl the pearl is also one of the best to ever pick up a cue. And for someone of his caliber to say something like that just solidifies Efren as one of if not thee single most creative pool player in history. He will always be my favorite player of all time for that fact as well, watching him stare down a pool table and wondering how in the world he saw or came up with that shot and then to see him pull it off has always amazed me and is one of the reasons i fell in love with pool as much as i did/have. He is truly a magician and so fun to watch as you just never know when he may just pull one of those rabbits out of his hat. Ironically i see alot of the same similarities out of alex pagulayan. Something about the vision of those Filipino’s that they just view the table different than everyone else. And both are some of the nicest people you could ever meet.

@@WrestlingPH kabayan, if that kiss shot was close to the pocket i wouldn't be amazed. But that kiss shot was way too far from the pocket. It requires perfect ball control, let alone he did it in an actual game!

Alex pagulayan actually did something very similar during a match. And im nkt sure if you have ever watched any of rollie’s youtube videos where he tries to recreate some of the most insane shots in pool that the pros do on their first attempt obviously and then sees how many times it takes him to recreate it. Pretty cool videos to watch actually. Anyways alex explains how it is done in the video where rollie tries to recreate the shot the alex made. And basically the way they do it is just as you would jump the cue ball you can jump an object ball only difference is your using your cue to jump the cue ball and your using the cue ball to jump the object ball. So the trick is to jump the cue ball so that it lands directly on the object ball in the same place you would strike that ball with your tip if you were using your cue to jump it. So to simplify it, essentially its magic! Lol. To get the accuracy and the distance of how far the cue ball needs to fly in the air and then also have the perfect amount of speed or force so that it has enough force to them get that object ball to bounce and STILL end up all in line so that it goes in the pocket! HAH!!! if thats not magic i dont know what is! Lol

From my best guess and judging by the perspective we are given. It seems as though he plays bottom on the cue ball. This will in turn put top spin on the object ball which in this case happens to be the 9 ball. The 9 then caroms into the 7 ball and then hits the rail and since the 9 has top spin it grabs the rail and cloth of the table which drives the ball forward which allows it to go in the pocket cross corner. I will have to set this one up when i get home and see if theory ends up looking anything like what Efren pulled off here.
