What you guys did with your Moms garden and those beautiful hand made benches for the fie pit is incredible! So much work!!! But, wow it is beautiful! The benches around the fire pit, make it your outdoor living room. Looks awesome from the dock and from the cabin! Just a show stopper. Garden, flowers, benches, fire pit, makes you want to stop at your dock for a visit. And that’s what it’s all about! Bravo, guys!!!!

You guys are fine examples of why I have faith in humaity. Thank you Mom and Dad for being your best for your kids, and thank you kids for following their lead. There's plenty of time to make mistakes later in life, but for now keep doing things as smart as you have been so you may not have experience too many pitfalls. I look forward to seeing what you are all up to especially after a couple days of the "grind". Next time you are in Tucson or Spokane would love to host you guys if our rentals are available.

Great video again guys. These always give me a wash of different emotions as I watch. I end up feeling nostalgic, happy, sad, regretful, peaceful and so much more. I hope you kids (obviously you're not kids now, you're fine young adults) appreciate all the intentional effort that your parents put into making a life like this. This was no twist of fate or luck. It is no small feat to create a life (can't think of a better word for this) like this for all of you, but I also appreciate how great you young people are for embracing it wholeheartedly with them (and I hope they appreciate that). I hope you all stay close and love each other and remember to not sweat the little stuff. God bless and have a wonderful summer.

Ripping a log by hand is a major endeavor. It’s a bit easier to split the log with a few wedges. In the old days sawing a long into boards was done with a pit and pit saw run by two guys.

I would love to see you guys make a video on the cost you guys spend doing this adventure monthly, and yearly. This would help people understand if it financially can be done by anyone or do you need to be wealthy to do what you guys have done in the last couple of years. Include avg cost with breakdown of Equipment cost, Gas, Hotels, Camping fee's, food etc....
