I know, I messed up..but we were actually staying in Amsterdam and I need to get the rest of the trip up. We travelled to Efteling just for the day. Will be back for more though!

Yay!!! This was so much fun! And worth the wait 🎉I’m still peeved that there wasn’t a drop on Fata Morgana and Carnival Festival tune is still in my head 😂 I’m so happy I got to experience this magical place with you! 💕

@@DisneyEmUkyou should come back once the new attraction "dans macabre" opens up its a spooky spinning ride with beautiful music. It used to be a haunted house show attraction but they are going to rebuild it. It's worth the wait

If you want to know about the donkey. He is from a fairytale called "Ezeltje strekje" wich is about a father giving his 3 sons gifts that the sons discover are miracles. One of the sons gets the donkey and the donkey can poop gold coins. Thats why people want them as souvenirs. The stories of the other 2 sons are in the building next to snow white if I remember correctly. We dutch kids grew up with grimm's fairytales so for us efteling is easy to understand. But it can be wierd for others 😂😅

@@DisneyEmUk the full name of the fairytale is "Tafeltje dek je, ezeltje strek je en knuppel uit de zak". One of the brothers gets a table that when you tell it too, puts on a full meal. It gets stolen from him by an evil innkeeper, as is the Donkey from the other brother. The third brother has a club in a bag. When the innkeeper tries to rob him, he gets beaten by the club and the brothers live happily ever after with their table and donkey.

Its not in amsterdam. The park is in kaatsheuvel, close to tilburg.

I heard you say that you can’t hear your future from the Troll King, because you don’t speak Dutch. No one can, he speaks gibberish. He only sometimes says things like: “triest” (sad) or “da’s leuk” (that’s fun/funny). If it was a joke, then I’m sorry…

Those portaloos at the entrance are a disgrace but apparently necessary due to construction of the grand hotel. I do appreciate the WC capacity that they provide but they tend to leave a bad first impression, hopefully they didn't sour your day too much. Thanks for the vlog!

@@DisneyEmUk yes me too! I’m a bit of a wuss with rides normally but absolutely loved this one. Also Villa Volta for me was just so clever! Can’t wait to go back in a different season… would love to see the water show all lit up with the colours. It wasn’t quite dark enough when we went to get the full effect!

@@DisneyEmUk we went in early April, if you watch my Vlog you can see how dark it was - you can just make out the colour lights but the flames 🔥 were pretty cool!

The Efteling is in Noord Brabant, not Holland. That's a different part of the Netherlands. Many make the mistake and some Dutch call the Netherlands Holland. The troll king doesn't speak Dutch. It is gibberish so no one knows his future. He says aye aye aye a lot so that doesn't predict much good. The flying man on the carpet has nothing to do with Alladin. Some parts of the fairy tale forrest are 70 years old. So some things may look outdated. Fata morgana is almost 40 years old. The way the puppets can move is a invention of the Efteling itself. See how it looks today and Disney Paris can learn something. The other disney parks I never went to so I can't say how maintenance is there. I hope you liked the Efteling. For me it is more magical than Disney (Paris)

amazin 2 see non dutchies love our park its so good because walt disney stole his ideas from us and based disney of our park u dont wanna go away and if u go again u need to stay in hotel

I have listened! I went back, took more people and stayed on site! We all loved it. Back again soon. But also, there is no evidence of Walt doing this, turns out he didn't visit the park. But probably a lot of influence there for sure!

Hiya, you just pay for entry, and ride all day! And the day price is very reasonable too! €38 I believe.

Also there's no 'fast pass" system in the Efteling.

all is prety cheap comparable 2 bigger parks with bigger names but actualy worst then the efteling efteling is 1 of the oldest in europe and disney based and stole ideas from efteling to build disney land if u go go for seccond day and somewhat when its dark early 2 see the amazing end show with lights in darknes its the perfect ending to a magical day full of fantasy and no stress even the waiting ceus people dont mind standing in 2 wait some time because everything is decorated to world clas this might be the best park from the world if u ask me

Please, please don't compare Efteling too much with Disney. And better don't call it Dutch Disney! It's older than Disneyland. And better, especially the one in Paris with its overdue maintenance and rude staff...
