Northside has an agenda and I believe that he is trying to build his online profile, for that I dislike him more than any other fan. He thinks he's going to be able to rant his way to riches because thats his level of intelligence and insight when it comes to football. The guy literally has nothing else to offer.

Why does Egal keep going about the fan’s mentality? It’s not the fans who get paid to play for Arsenal. It’s not the fans who have to go out and deliver. In other words, the fan’s mentality, whether optimistic or pessimistic, is irrelevant. Not the first time I’ve heard him make this point either.

Players see the actions of fans in the stands on match days and on social media, so you can’t say it has no effect on them. They are human after all, and this is the same for any sports team, no matter how good you are. Yes at the end of the day it’s up to the players to deliver but in this day and age especially, you can’t say fans’ actions have absolutely no impact on players.

English fans are too full of themselves. They criticize every other league and brand some as the farmers league, yet, English teams buy top players from there. Overrating and over hyping Rice ,Saks and zinchenko ,but,none of them turned up against Aston villa or Bayern Munich. Arsenal English fans need to tone it down a`bit and show some respect to other teams and leagues. When you put players on a pedestal, they must live up to the hype with outstanding performances in difficult situations. Rice and Saks have been proven to be good players and not world class.

@@hzskillz1721You talk like our problems are mostly on the manager though. He’s been elite this season and deserves a lot of credit, he’s been impressive and done his part this season. We’ve lost too games which we performed well in but didn’t have that edge up front, that’s the real issue cause the manager has been setting them up really well for so many games. How many games have we started and had big periods where we’re not up for it? That’s where you can have a good case to say Arteta isn’t the man but that hasn’t happened.

Either way he’s the manager the buck always stops with him. You cannot be praising him for when things are going well and then turn around and absolve him of any responsibility when things don’t go our way. That’s not how that works.

Question: Why's there a split amongst the fans, title over or not? Argument is , its one defeat, 6 games go, 2 points behind City, not a time to panic. But seasoned supports know this the run in,ie less than 10 games to go. So it's all about context,talk is cheap, it about results, with so few games to go,' Champions ' just dont lose at home & hand over the initiative to their rivals, period. I think this fanbase has legitimate PTSD. I can see us getting hammered by Bayern and not getting another convincing win all season. I don't see anything to say we can come back from diversity, when we've not done it before and last time we were on poll position and threw it away.

@@thekidd7 I get that but this team this season for the first time in a long while has shown real evidence of maturity not present in Arsenal teams of the past decade. Getting a result at the Etihad and Anfield, getting past the last 16 in UCL via penalties, getting back into the title race and staying in it after that horrible December, etc. I don’t recall the last season in which Arsenal were in the title race AND UCL this late in the season. Having said all that, I don’t think it’s right to be so quick to completely dismiss our chances of bouncing back from the Villa loss in this run in.

Not sure why anyone listens to Egal the Flip Flop! He's such a back and forth fan who is consistently inconsistent! Northside was absolutely spot on about how he gaslights the team and certain players and when things goes wrong, his whole rhetoric changes. Bayern Munich are a team we should have tried to beat and they didn't. The way Arsenal were playing, we should have attempted to put Bayern to the test and Bayern Munich managed us, regardless of their performance in Bundesliga, we should have at least beaten Bayern at Emirates Stadium alone....

Real Madrid sack their managers because they're the biggest and best team in their country and arguably in the world. Arsenal are neither of those things, so what's the point in expecting them to be like them? Last year most people didn't even have Arsenal finishing in the top 4, that would never happen at real madrid so stop compating the two clubs.

I think it's more to do with the timing of it that has people freaking out. Plus, it's always happened at the same time the past 3 seasons. But it's football. Anything can happen.

He says he judge his opinions by holding the over positive fans accountable when all along this season he's said that Arteta must win the league or the CL or he must get sacked! The truth is the only ones that demanded Arteta to win the league or the CL this season are fans that are "over possitive" or "over critical" and those fans are both the most delusional! And only represents 10-15% of the Arsenal fan base..... They're both equal delusional but in different perspectives.... The other 85-90% of the fan base (which doesn't make a fool of themselves on social media) are grounded long-time fans that see the game for what it is....A GAME!
