Stumbled across this doing an architecture project involving welding, really beautiful work! I would have loves to see another version kept with all the welding parts before the skin was put on, love that texturing!

Love it. So you get the shape from the rods, and then fill in between the rods with weld, and then grind smooth, and add parts built up by weld and grind. The finished product is very nice. especially like the finish color.

THAT... is a lot of welding. Great to watch. As a stick and MIG welder, I can see this took a lot of time but I wonder how long it did take, just the stick welding part?

fantastic kinda reminds me of the easter island rock statues but maybe I am wrong about that. What do you think about that looks similar to easter island statues?
@egbertbos41125 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I don't have the easter islands statues as an example, I have my own form language.

Awesome. Is this something a person would buy for yard art or is this for a big corporate art installation or something?
@egbertbos41125 жыл бұрын
Thank you! This is free work, one can buy it of course.

you will actually cook your eyes working that way ,,, I mean literally cook them end result is spectacular though .

@Bubz of Steel yep stop being lazy and tacking with only a pair of glasses .. you need a full face mask all the time .. it needs to be down every time you strike an arc . Treat your self to a good active mask i'd recommend a 3m speedline its an industry standard .. then get into the habit of putting it down as you lift the torch ... after a while it becomes second nature ... you won't do much work at all if you can't see ... hope that helps ... don't scrimp on protection .. that little spark gives off a lot of energy and in a broad spectrum ...

great results , looks like a slow way of going , but you cant argue with the end product ,, treat yourself to an electric mask though ,,, tacking without a mask , even with your eyes closed will actually cook your eyes.

Hallo, an image of iron I do not a quick manner. If you make a mistake it takes to restore long. For construction work is an electronic helm well, not for my work.
