This is the kind of review I was looking for. As I am due around May but still undecided and still searching for actual reviews for the brands I am eyeing for like the `nuna mixx next, joolz hub+ etc... considering the sturdiness of the pram, how easy to fold and unfold, quality, texture, as obviously with the lockdown online viewing doesn’t give justice to how the material and it’s handling would gonna feel. Thank you for the review.

I am in France so looking at some UK brands... have you pushed around the icandy Lime? if so what do you think of it? (for now it is one of my main contenders. The seat hood is maybe a bit low, but by that time I would probably get a lighter umbrella parm...

I want a cyber easy S twist now, I love prams too, but been on look out for a small buggy that parent faces, And so this is the one I want next if you are ever on lookout for a little buggy with parent facing option. We have a Jane trader I love but is heavy , and a Chicco buggy I hate. The egg years ago made a car seat (about 30 years ago) which my mum had for my older brother, and the minute she saw the egg pram she got memories of the car seat from years ago

Hii, totally unrelated to this video, but I just watched your video on your experiences with the cerazette. Your story sounded exactly like mine, so I was wondering if you are still using it and if so, if you are still experiencing long periods and spotting. Really love your videos: I learned a lot from you when you made videos back when you where 15. You made me buy my first menstrual cup, and I love it to this day.

When in tandem mode and the carrycot on the bottom, how do you find pushing it? The carrycot looks like it sticks out quite a lot. Wouldn't it be rather awkward for banging your legs against? I'm taller and so have longer arms to push the unit further away from my body but I think it looks like it would be rather awkward for even me with the extra height/length. How do you as a shorter person find it?
@LauraBidingCitizen
@LauraBidingCitizen 3 жыл бұрын
Yes I noticed that. I’m tall & I’d find myself tripping on it (or leaning over to push it which would cause me back pain). It did seem to stick out quite a way x
@preciousstarsvlogs
@preciousstarsvlogs 3 жыл бұрын
It's actually not as bad as you'd think. Yes you have to adjust a bit, but with the handle on the highest setting you have more room. Also if you have a car seat on the bottom it's not as long. I wouldn't say its the best tandem pushchair, but the compactness of it means I can actually get the whole pushchair with two seats in the back of my car,. To be honest best thing to do is find somewhere you can test it out, but I appreciate its not that easy right now!

I'm terrible. I have 3 prams. I bought one for when my daughter was first born. Then bought one for rougher terrain as we live on a lifestyle block and our area surrounding is pretty much majority of it is metalized. Then we were going on holiday and I didn't want to bring either of the bulkier prams and bought an aeroplane appropriate one which could be stored in the over head lockers when flying. My daughter is now 4 almost 5 and I probably should sell them but I have to much sentimental feelings towards them as she was a premature baby.

Lol my daughter was 29 on Dec 20th...i lost count of how many prams I had I adored them and all these years later still miss pushing a, pram. Egg would be one I would have brought all my friends were "not another pram.. you have more money than sense" I however never brought a new one always rough preloved as good for environment and then I would sell or gift the previous one to mum & baby charity. Having babies can be uber expensive or you can buy preloved get great bargains, indulge your guilty pleasure ie prams and help environment... My daughter is if I can have kids going to do same by preloved on as much as possible so can spend money on car seats, mattresses things that u really do need new. As I put it if u wait till u think u can afford a baby u will never have one believe me cost does not stop the older they get and the worry about them gets worse... Oh first time she drove herself hour after passing driving test turned my hair grey lol. In weird Covid year have a Merry Christmas everyone, those who have an empty chair my thoughts are with you, let's heep hope in hearts 2021 will be better :) x

Hey! I am a big fan of all your fostering videos and tried to post a question on your panel video but couldn’t for some reason but anyways me and my partner are in the stage 2 assessment stage at the moment with our panel date being early may, I just wanted to ask you in regards to the placement hub ringing and sending you over info packs about the children do they show pictures of the child also or is it just writing about likes and dislikes with no picture? Hope you are allowed to answer this as I think it’s nice if we can place info about a child to a face!
@preciousstarsvlogs
@preciousstarsvlogs 3 жыл бұрын
depends on if the child is already in care. If you are doing long term you might get some information including a picture. However if the child is coming into care you usually only get a phone call with some information, and you're lucky if 50% of it is correct! Honestly take things you are told with a pinch of salt, you'll only really know what's going on after they have been with you a while.

@@preciousstarsvlogs Thankyou so much for responding! It is much appreciated, I have actually just been on a paediatric first aid course today and the ladies who have children in their care currently said exactly the same thing about information being vague and in some cases incorrect so I think like you say once we build rapport and get to know the children in our care then we can connect the dots kind of thing, thanks again!
