Mr. Legetables himself, already showing off to the metaphorically hypnotized crowd with his graceful moves. For years, this leaf headed menace had been taking root in the culture of Eggdog City, plastering his smile on every billboard he could buy, placing his image on posters everywhere that was seen by the common eye. Fortune and glory was his, but he wanted more. He wanted the entire city all to himself, to become the epicenter of its culture and grow even more. Nobody stood to oppose him. Not only did the majority take a liking to him, not knowing how his actions could change their town forever, none of them were able to dance as gracefully as he could. After all: Their legs were too stubby to keep up. All they could do was bob their heads to the music... _But one dog bravely stood to oppose this plan._ Adorned in huge afro and coolguy glasses, Eggdance stepped up to the plate to return the culture of the town to who it belonged to: The Dogs. Turnip, in all his cockiness, believed there was nothing that a dressed up Eggdog could do against him. He believed he'd mop the floor with the poor pup. So, he took the challenge to show off to everyone and improve on his fame even further. All while tarnishing the good name of Eggdance forever. This battle was to be broadcasted to every inch of the city that Turnip had a reach for! In homes, in businesses, even out in the streets! It picked up enough traction that their "battle" was being broadcasted live on the news! The outcome of this competition would be known to almost everyone in town... The stage was set, and the grueling battle begins! - - *"Round 1!* *_F I G H T ! "_* Turnip's turn begins, and already: He's throwing out a spectacular display for the crowd! Graceful crossings of his legs, twists, and squats abound in his opening act! The crowd eats it up, obviously, and yet to Eggdance's surprise: Turnip is only using his weakest moves! He knew what this was: Turnip was taunting them, showing how even his most basic movements were enough to impress the crowd. These moves were some of the best dances that the Eggdogs had seen, simply because his legs were longer and allowed for better movement. After just a short set of moves? The eggdog crowd was ecstatic, bobbing their heads away to the beat of the song with the rising energy of the club! Even the DJ couldn't stop himself from bobbing away! Everyone was on Turnip's side, and Turnip knew this. He knew Eggdance knew this, too. He reeled back, laughing at his preconcieved victory as a way to smother out the Egg's hopes of squaring against them... _. . . But this fight was just beginning._ *Eggdance takes a deep breath, and remembers how he got here...* - - A flashback plays back through his mind. Eggdance was formerly just a regular Eggdog, like everyone else, and was sick and tired of all the broadcasts about Turnip, _unlike_ everyone else. Most other programs seemed to have just been set aside just for media involving Turnip. Shows about Turnip, commercials about Turnip, _news sections about Turnip._ He couldn't even look out his window to try and stop seeing Turnip, because he was also taking to the streets and performing for people just to get more attention! Eggdog city was losing itself before Eggdance's very eyes thanks to this invasive root plant. What happened to the strawberries? The Egg _cats?_ The H Beasts?! Where was the culture of the Eggdogs anymore, after Turnip came around? When would it end? ...It would end by his hand, he decided, after having discovered his Grandfather's huge afro and coolguy glasses alongside a diary. A diary that contained memoirs of his Grandfather's time as a dancing star in his youth. Most importantly it spoke about how he _trained his body to give Eggdogs a dancer's body._ Eggdance would follow these instructions to the "t" as though it had become his moral code, knowing that his legacy may be the only chance to return the Eggdog culture to the city he once loved. - - Over a year of training later, and Turnip's influence had only gotten stronger. His moves, more graceful than ever in the eyes of the Eggdogs. He had only one shot to put an end to this. But Eggdance... *_Was ready._* Leaping up, he began to summon the strength that his training had brought him! The entirety of his Egg-like shape began to radiate with an unknown "Dance Power" as he began to transform, stunning everyone in the club into silent staring. Especially Turnip, who had stepped back as Eggdance displayed what his Grandfather's instructions had given him! His stubby legs sink away... and in their place? _An entire humanoid body in a fancy white dancing suit._ *_Legs... AND ARMS._* Eggdance took the opposite approach that Turnip was using! _Right off the bat, he went ALL OUT with every move he knew in a stunning display!_ The entire dance floor seemed to almost glisten with stars with every move he pulled off, completely trouncing anything Turnip pulled off in the past! He wasn't just defeating Turnip, *_he was DESTROYING them!_* The entire crowd extended their necks in shock at Eggdance's spectacular performance! Turnip himself was frozen solid in fear! Eggdance had shown that Eggdogs could not only dance... they could be excellent at it! Everything that Turnip wanted to do was crumbling apart before his very eyes. The mere fact that he had long legs meant nothing now! Everything was going to be taken from him. His fame would plummet, his broadcasts would be canceled, people would demand their money back for his mediocre performances by comparison... Realizing all of this? He faints on the spot, if not flat-out collapsing dead on the dance floor. Eggdance had done it. Eggdog City was saved. Now he no longer dances to succeed... he dances in victory. He dances with pride, with joy, and with relief that it's over! Eggdog culture would be restored, and all would be well. The DJ steps forward, offering EggDance a Strawberry Trophy. He had officially won. Won the hearts of his fellow dogs, won against the Turnip, and so much more to come in his future. - - *"Game over!"*

Top 10 anime character arcs. It all started 20 years ago. Back then, few knew the art of Disco. It was hard, for many who wish to perform it lacked the legs to even bust a move. Then Turnip came. He gave the town the joy of Disco. His dance was awe inspiring. Many would attempt to be on league with Turnip, and the Turnip encouraged it, he loved new dance mates. However, he slowly became paranoid. No one would watch his disco as much as they used to, they had their eyes on the upstarts and newbies who brought to the floor new moves. That was when, he decided to create "Dance Battles", and it gave him the edge he needed. With every win, his victories would demoralize his opponents, causing them to lose not only fame, but the will of Disco. With no one left to challenge him, he became a supreme ruler of the dance floor. One however, knew him before his days of dance tyranny. He saw Turnip in his first days. He no longer saw the same Turnip that danced on the streets just outside his house, the Turnip that inspired him to disco on the path he took to this moment. So he trained, trained till his legs were no longer mere stubs. He donned the essences of Disco, an oversized afro and shades, and stepped onto where Turnip would dance the night away. Turnip would laugh, "Stubby Legs cannot beat me!" but accepted the dance off. It was going to be an easy victory. Turnip danced, however as he danced, he felt a great fear well up inside. He knew something was up, so he disco'd like there was never going to be another disco in the world. When he finished, he could not shake off the fear of what would come. As he watched the dog before him sprout the body of a man, he knew he had lost. Every move, every step, everything his opponent did shook his Disco Soul to the core. Had he lost his edge? Surely not! He had danced and danced like never before. Then, as the Dog does a butt shake, the crowd goes wild, the cheers had never been this loud, this happy. Turnip was overwhelmed with emotion. He had corrupted the art of Disco. He had sinned on the dance floor. The laser wizards and DJesus no longer shone their heavenly rays of dance upon his body. He had lost. As he stumbles to the floor defeated, he sees the dog, dancing with a smile. The dog had no need for a trophy, all he wanted, was to dance under others under the Disco ball once again.
