Probably not as amazing as you would think. He's probably this good because he plays all the other games. He develops his fundamentals from the other games.

The reason he 3-0d ZeRo is because he focused on Smash 4. He saw that he had to fight Leffen and ZeRo, and focused on ZeRo because he had beaten Leffen before (said this in an interview) if he didn't have Melee to worry about he could do this with a lot of events and get consistent top 3s perhaps.

***** Well yeah, because he has been playing this game for 15 years right? If his first game was Brawl like Nairo and ZeRo, he probably wouldnt even be as good of a player he is now. Now, he would probably be better at Smash 4 than he is now, but not by much. He has been developing fundamentals since 2002, Nairo and ZeRo have been since 2008, 6 years later.

It's like M2K heard the commentators, and was like "nah, Imma do the opposite". Honestly, I think M2K played Ally for most of this match up. He wasnt letting himself be predictable like Ally was trying to force him to do, and as a result ally didn't have the player advantage he usually gets. Even as a God, M2K is underrated.

cloud vs. mario is a 55-45 in clouds favor IMO cloud has such a long reach and such fast attacks that mario can have a really hard time getting in, a grab from mario can do 60% and that's terrifying, but at the same time, he's helping charge clouds limit, and that'll charge it a little over halfway, if mario edgeguards cloud he can do a lot with it, nut ally wasn't doing that (for some reason that don't quite understand)

Normally I don't like watching Cloud very much, but I really enjoy M2K's Cloud a lot. Idk what it is, I feel like he doesn't play much different then others.

Simple, if mario doesn't edgeguard cloud, then he loses. A lot of people don't bother to LIMIT (pun intended) cloud's recovery options so of course, many people think cloud is top 5. Also, Idk why people overrate crosscut's killing potential. Yes it's mostly safe, but it doesn't kill that early. Just watch m2k and ally doubles. Crosscut at 70 nowhere near kills even diddy. Lots of other moves from other cast members kill at that percent though.

Cross just seems intimidating (with the zoom and all), remains active for a while, and is hard to punish, but it definitely has a hard time KOing
