The Snow Shovel Attachment, Power Head, 4.0Ah Battery and Charger are part of the EGO POWER+ Multi-Head System. With a 25’ directional throwing distance, control over direction thrown makes it unlike any other snow shovel on the market. The Snow Shovel Attachment cleans paths 12” wide making it great for sidewalks, driveways, and decks. Clear 6” of snow on a 4-car driveway with the included 4.0Ah ARC Lithium battery.

Used the first time recently. As a solar customer, this really helps me maximize my solar panels rather than buying gas/gas machines. It worked well on my 4-5" of mid-weight snow. I wish the auger turned another 5-10 degrees to the side. I have to get creative in a lot of narrow/awkward spaces. After a while, the weight becomes notable. It's in a different way than had I shoveled all that snow, so I felt it the next day in the arms/upper back. A backpack battery over $1K isn't worth it since I am not a commercial snow remover. That being said, I'm pretty sure I would buy again although I might just consider a small snow blower from Ego as well. I love my Ego lawn mower!

I have the single and dual stage! Rather use the single stage, this is more for decks and smaller areas. Gimmicky, but nice line up for the multi head which I also own. But if you don’t own the single stage ego snow blower and own the multi head, go for this one as it is more compact and easy storage!

I ve been wanting to get it but its sold out everywhere. I have Ego single stage blower and with 6" snow, I would use the blower. I just switch around shovel, bristle brush, and blower depending on the snow accum and condition. Good video !

"Anything that is green is a touch point and is adjustable" so I can adjust the auger?

The auger on the EGO Snow Blower and the Snow Shovel Attachment are 2 green parts we do not recommend touching/adjusting.

I have the ego snow blower, its awesome. I also have the multihead and almost every attachment for it. I wouldnt get this just because I have the snow blower. it doesn't seem to clear that wide a of a space either, so maybe if you just have a small walk way to clear or a big driveway. if you do id make the investment into the actual snow blower instead

I know this is an old video but it would have been nice to know the battery you used, how long it lasted and maybe what coverage you were able to get with a single charge.

I have several ego products. It will take any size ego battery. I bought mine as one piece so it came with a 56-Volt 2.5Ah battery. I use a quarter charge to do my walkway, sidewalk, back yard deck and small driveway and we’re on a corner suburban lot. Takes me about 15-20 mins. Cons: it’s a little heavy and feels like you are vacuuming

that's correct, you will need the "POWER + multi-head" tool to make use of this new attachment option.

@@acmetools I wish when I went to Ace and asked them about these. They would have explianed that to me. Or I would have spent more to get that. I have the lawnmower, leaf blower and weed eater. I cant justify the price for the snow blower. My driveway not big and havent used my gas snow blower in past two years.

@@donb1979 we're sorry to hear you had a less than stellar buying experience even from another company. we know it's not the cheapest option out there, but we do offer a light duty EGO snowblower bare tool for only $450 here and that would work with your existing batteries. www.acmetools.com/cordless-snow-blower-21in-single-stage-tool-only-snt2100-snt2100/692042006906.html

Good thought, but that wouldn't work for this particular test. This tool is rated for 6" of snow, here we were testing it in about 9.5"
@superspeeder

@Manny Rosales what doesn’t he get? I own this tool and can tell you the same thing; in snow deeper than 6” it’s going to struggle a bit, especially if the snow is wet. You have to take short bites or it bogs down (actually the clutch slips, as designed). In 6” or less of normal snow, and running on a smooth surface, yes you can just walk forward with it and it works great.

I don't think it would work out for me since it doesn't look like it can be adjusted to shoot very high. I get banks up to 4' high on a narrow path and wold only be able to blow left or right since street is too close to door. Guess no brand can helo me out. Shoveling is getting tough for me. 😢

In level 1 power, does the snow shoot as far as lvl2? We don't get much over 5" some weeks. Deciding between the snow shovel and the bristle brush.

I have the bristle brush and I find it quite heavy, so I'm hoping this attachment is a bit lighter. I have used it last year for really light snow (maybe up to six inches) and while it worked pretty well for light snowfall, I think it would struggle with any more and definitely couldn't do what is shown in this video. I'm hopeful that the snow shovel attachment here is lighter because it obviously clears more snow. I also have the single stage Ego snowblower and it's pretty awesome.

It was $399.00 it went on sale for $299.00 so i bought it and it had a faulty handle out of the box Ego replaced it. Have used it like 6-7 times now and its only good if you have a perfect driveway no debris , leaves tiny pebbles or it jams like crazy and it also jams with snow numerous times and its Heavy and Ego should include the carry Strap. And truly I would not Recommend buying at all ! Wish i never purchased it!
