You’ll never find a vacuum leak with soapy water. That’s for finding a positive air pressure leak (hence making bubbles) spray your connections with carb cleaner, your idle will go up as soon as you spray over the failure point .

So....I'm sorry to say buddy but that unsolvable vibration is probably the valves. At best you need to inspect and re shim them for proper clearance at worst you risk burned exhaust valves. Ive got three toyotas with little 3/4s of a million miles on them all together. One 22r and 2 3rzs. It sucks because you won't be able to find a shim kit so you'll need to measure the clearance, do the math, then order the appropriately sized shims. I've been told you can swap shims around to get clearance but that's what kills these 3rz motors is no one ever had the valves adjusted.....ever

Dude! Finally got it figured out it was actually the exhaust was hitting a cross member and vibrating. Glad to not have that problem anymore!!!

If you burn a valve you can always rebuild the head it isn’t going to ruin an engine.

Correct comment. Along with the proclivity of the exhaust manifolds to almost all crack from factory. There will be valve issues. Such a great engine with lots of torque.

Is that a 2000 3rd gen? Always thought they switched to only v6 beginning 00 or 01, one of the two.

2000.. I never heard of only 3.4s
